You MUST DRAFT These Deep Sleepers in 2024 – Fantasy Football Draft Advice

there are still way too many people that have no idea what to do late in their fantasy football drafts that is not the time to be drafting some washed veterans multiple defenses multiple kickers or some dude buried on a depth chart on a crappy team you need to try to find some of those younger guys with increased roles remember in fantasy football we're chasing touches because touches equal points so to help you out here are seven players that I'm grabbing late in fantasy football drafts in 202 four that's right in today's show I'm not going to be talking about a player who's drafted inside the top 140 picks of the consensus rankings however I could see all of these guys being fantasy relevant at some point this season now if hearing that makes you want a Ric Flair woo up in here you need to do me a favor and hit the like button now because I want to set a like goal on this video and give you an opportunity to get a free 2024 Fantasy Football Draft guide now for the like goal if this video can get over 1,500 likes I'm I'm going to pick a random commenter from down below and give them a free fantasy football draft guide but not just that we're also going to hide a promo code on the screen at some point in this video that's right we're up in here playing fantasy wees Waldo now that code that we're going to hide on the screen is also good for a free draft guide on tfhd draft guide.com so the first five people to find that promo code head to our website and purchase a draft guide using that promo code are going to get it for free so happy Hunting good luck to the first five people to check out using that promo code so they can get a free draft guide here for 2024 but now is the time to turn on your brain take some mental notes and remember these deep sleepers in your fantasy football draft and we'll start it off with the guy who will be the most expensive on draft day in this video and he's currently ranked 141st overall by the consensus it's Jaylen Wright running back of the Miami Dolphins and it really doesn't matter what platform you're looking at wherever you get your information from there's going to be people who either don't believe in Raheem moer due to his age or Devon Anan due to his injury concerns due to his size but if you have concerns about either one of those guys then Jaylen Wright is an absolute must-have in fantasy football yet he's currently the running back 45 overall we know that head coach Mike McDaniel likes to use multiple running backs in his offense he's done it every single year in Miami we also know the Dolphins are one of the best overall offenses in the NFL they put points up in bunches but they are an offense that is absolutely obsessed with speed and that is Jaylen Wright he is a younger bigger and just as fast of a running back as Raheem moard and Devon aan now we know that moard has never played a full season and we know that last year Devon Anan struggled to stay healthy because his smaller frame does him no favors if anything happens to either one of those guys though Jaylen Wright is going to have a chance at a large role in a juggernaut offense now last year Miami ran the ball 456 times which is right around League average their offensive line is improved but most importantly their defense is going to be improved this year as well if Miami can take more leads late into games in 2024 we're going to see them running the ball a little bit more more rushing opportunities only opens the door for more potential injuries to Raheem moer or Devon hm who are still going to start the season with the bulk of the work if they get hurt Jaylen Wright is going to have a great opportunity now I will say this if you find yourself drafting Devon hn way too early or Raheem moer drafting jayen Wright is an absolute must because I will tell you if either one of those running backs go down in Miami and Jaylen Wright gets this role he will be the RB 45 drafted in the double digit rounds that is going to have League winning upside another guy is Rico D of the Dallas Cowboys currently 144th overall in the consensus ranks and by now now everyone knows that Ezekiel Elliott is back in Dallas and he is their current running back one this season but we also know that Zeke isn't what he used to be now of course he may eat up some early down touches and reign supreme on the goal line but I really don't see him being some Workhorse type running back like he was in the past think back just two years ago that was the last time Zeke played for the Cowboys he got solid volume on the early Downs for sure and he scored double digit touchdowns That season season but that was also the year that Tony Pard absolutely exploded in his secondary role behind Zeke then last year happened and the Dallas Run game wasn't that great with just Tony Pard now they've brought back Ezekiel Elliott to be the hammer and Rico dle to have a chance at that secondary role behind Zeke now D is a very capable pass catching running back in only two games last year where he saw double digit touches he scored touchdowns in both games he ended with 505 total yards and four total touchdowns on only 106 total touches then we have the scenario of what happens if Zeke goes down it's not like he's some young spry guy anymore there in the backfield who else on the death chart is really going to challenge for large volume Royce Freeman Duce vaugh no Rico D is going to have a role regardless this season but if Zeke goes down the guy is going to abs absolutely explode and be a deep sleeper that you wish you would have drafted which leads me to a guy I've been talking about all off season and I'm going to continue to talk about it because he's not rising up draft boards quick enough it's Rasheed Shahed wide receiver of the New Orleans Saints currently 149th overall in consensus rankings and everyone only pays attention to Chris olve but why are people not paying attention to the other wide receiver in New Orleans Rasheed Shahed currently wide receiver 60 is laughably low in my opinion and it's actually gotten lower as the off season has gone on which is absolutely nuts last year's wide receiver 60 was Michael Wilson in Arizona and he almost missed half the season now rashed he did not kill it by any means last year but he still finished 18 spots higher in 2023 than he's currently being drafted in 2024 and now is going to have a bigger opportunity he had five games last year with over 14 fantasy points he averages over 16 yards per reception over the last two seasons Michael Thomas is now gone and that frees up 64 Targets in this offense last year Shahed only had 75 targets which he turned into 46 receptions yet still had 719 yards and five touchdowns if he can get just 15 more Targets this year and keep his career averages everywhere else across the line it's going to give him a pretty solid stat line somewhere in the neighborhood of 90 targets 60 receptions just over a th000 yards and six touchdowns that stat line right there makes him a Verge top 25 wide receiver now maybe you're saying Jake maybe those numbers are a little bit too high especially the receiving yards all right how about this he could still have 170 less receiving yards so right around 900 yards and still have enough fantasy points to finish inside the top 30 at the position and absolutely blow his ADP out of the water the definition of a deep sleeper that I am drafting everywhere in 2024 all right before I get in the next guy I need a favor from you if you haven't subscribed to the channel yet please consider doing so right now and I'm talking to the almost 41% of you out there that watch these d da bangers out there that just aren't subscribed yet it only takes a second and it helps me keep my job I'm really trying to get the channel to 250,000 subscribers this year but I'm going to need your help doing so please subscribe if you haven't already all right back to the players and the next one is going to be Josh Palmer of the Los Angeles Chargers why is he still currently 150th overall in consensus rankings there is just so much unknown in this Chargers offense there are just so many options right it's Josh Palmer it's Quinton Johnston it's lad makoni it's DJ CH it's Brendan rice but there are only one of those guys right now that has any proven chemistry with quarterback Justin Herbert and it's Josh freaking Palmer now if you've been here for a couple years you know I love myself some Josh Palmer he's just been stuck behind the likes of Mike Williams and Keenan Allen for a couple of years then he finally gets his chance last year and he gets injured himself but now is the time he can prove himself it's a contract year he's playing for a fat stack of cash he doesn't have to do it all on his own in this offense either which is okay the other wide receivers in this offense are going to give the defense other players to worry about which means more one-on-one coverage more single coverage going the way of Josh Palmer we've seen big plays we've seen contested catches we've seen 100 yard games we've seen top 12 finishes from him before and here is a fun stat for you Josh Palmer has five games with 99 plus yards over the last two seasons that is just as many games as Garrett Wilson Michael Pitman DK metf DeAndre Hopkins and Terry McClaren and Yet Josh Palmer has missed eight games over the last two years it's all going to come down to volume but he's being drafted so late well into the double digit rounds that there is no risk but what there is definitely is a huge potential reward which takes me to another guy I've been talking about all damn offseason can we have some eye contact here pay attention quit ignoring Davian Wicks of the Green Bay Packers currently one 155th overall in the consensus rankings and if you know anything about me you know that I love myself some Jaden Reed I've been on that bandwagon for a while and I'm still not hopping off of it but there is a legit chance that davien Wicks is the top weapon in the Green Bay passing offense this season he showed in 2023 that he could get open he showed that he could make Defenders Miss and then do something with the ball once it was in his hands from weeks 11 on davien Wicks averaged five t targets four catches 57 yards and a half a touchdown per game if you take that over a 17 Game season he would have ended up with 85 targets for 68 catches 969 yards and eight tutes he's the current wide receiver 63 155th overall in the consensus rankings last year's wide receiver 63 was Odell Beckham and he missed four games and scored single digits in 10 other games we know that Christian Watson has proven that he cannot stay healthy and stay on the field Jordan love showed last year that he was a very capable quarterback and he is already looking the way of Davian Wicks all Camp Steve Smith came out a couple weeks ago said that Davian Wicks reminds him of Devonte Adams this is why people are starting to see him more and more and more and people are paying attention and you need to be one of those people forget about Christian Watson the future of the Green Bay passing offense is Jaden Reed and davien Wicks as a super late round pick he is a real deal sleeper which will then take us to another rookie wide receiver it's jayen pul of the New England Patriots currently 205th overall in the consensus rankings and somebody is going to have to catch footballs in New England now as of right now we don't know about the quarterback situation for sure but what we do know is Jaylen pulk is a real life wide receiver one in the NFL that has a chance to lead this team in targets immediately this season he's already basically the wide receiver one on their depth chart he's making great catches in Camp and proving to have reliable hands they already released gu guu Kendrick Bourne is coming off an injury pulk has second round draft capital from the draft this season he can not only just move the chains but he can bring in the Deep ball as well if any mixture of May Milton or brassette if they can just be average we're going to see a lot of Jaylen pul in 2024 if you are unfamiliar with him do yourself a favor go Google him on YouTube watch some of his game film watch some of his highlights the kid is pretty freaking good which takes us to our last guy today it's Jordan Mason running back of the San Francisco 49ers currently 306th overall in the consensus so he's going undrafted pretty much everywhere and sometimes you just have to play the odds and fantasy football when anyone talks about Christian mcaffrey it is impossible to have a conversation without bringing up some sort of injury history and here we are in the preseason of 2024 and Christian mcaffrey is dealing with a calf strain remember that's what Joe burrow had to start the 2023 season so while there isn't some immediate Panic about Christian mcaffrey there is a little bit of pause for the cause because everyone knows in this San Francisco offense it is a running back Oasis so we got to look at the depth chart a little bit more well behind Christian mcaffrey is Elijah Mitchell he's missed 24 games over the last three years all right well they drafted Isaac gendo in the fourth round and people absolutely love him he's currently dealing with a hamstring strain himself all right well they brought back Matt breida he hasn't had more than 74 touches in the season since 2019 so that brings us to Jordan Mason now he only has 86 career touches but has an average of 5.8 yards per touch and has scored a touchdown every 20 touches he's 5'1 223 lb and has all the tools he needs to be successful in this San Francisco offense he's a little bit more of a late round Lottery stash if the season starts and Christian mcaffry is fully healthy or other guys on the death chart get healthy you can go ahead and drop Jordan Mason for somebody else on waivers who's overperforming but if you draft him late and some of these injuries linger in that running back room in San Francisco you could have the absolute steal of the draft so remember don't waste your late round picks on just random players find some guys that have that upside find some guys that have that potential opportunity because if you can find a few guys in the double digit rounds that can pop off and be fantasy relevant your chances of walking away with a Fantasy Football Championship increase exponentially now let me know what you think Down Below in the comment section about the players we talked about here today I'm going to go ahead and get out of here for the day but hopefully you guys enjoy the rest of your day and then most importantly do your part to make the world a better place [Music]"}]
