exercise because I feel like um and and I have labels for these tiers but I feel like some of the players I'm not like you probably aren't even drafting these guys agreed completely agree I was like why why is this guy in my tear right now but I was like I gotta put it I gotta put it here so the way I actually labeled um this tier six is these are all potential streamers right yes love that that's not the full process yeah not guys that I really have much faith in whatsoever but uh as far as being you know uh a reliable start this year but maybe they can be a streamer if things go right for you and you know I'm assuming everyone's playing in one Titan leagues there's some crazy two Titan leagues out there but um so uh here in this tier six that's where I have Mike iseki um I know it sounds crazy but micaseki was top five in targets the year before Tyree kill came in so I mean there's a scenario in which I I wrote an article about Michael seki before a free agency saying could someone look at him as a receiving threat rather than a tight end when you consider how weak the free agency class was this year maybe that was the Patriots maybe it was right maybe they're planning on getting him more involved in the passing game and that's why he wanted to go there I know he was frustrated with his role in Miami so I mean hey who knows I know Hunter Henry's there yeah Mike iseki there's got to be a reason they brought him in that's where I would have Trey McBride trick or Trey um I do like Trey McBride but again there are still question marks is is this going to be the the year that he breaks out I certainly don't think that you draft this guy in a redraft league or best ball and feel confident about him being your Titan one right I asked I have a couple rookies here I have Sam laporta um again I have low expectations for rookies I have Michael Mayer I just don't know that you're really going to be able to draft these guys in a redraft league and just oh I feel ultimate confidence that they're going to be able to start for me week one historically that's not been the case I have Juwan Johnson here who had a nice little season last year okay um who knows what's going to happen with Foster Moreau that's where I have Irv Smith who could be a little sleeper this year heads to uh Cincinnati to replace Hayden Hurst yeah and the last player I have in this tier is Dalton Kincaid and I'm just gonna leave it now and ask some questions anyone that I missed anyone that you think shouldn't be in this tier here in uh in tier six years in tier six the only difference that I do have is actually the rookies um Michael Mayer and Sam Laporte uh Michael sorry all three Michael Mayer Sam laporta and Dolton Kincaid all of my tier five I feel really confident in those guys I know historically rookies don't have the history but I think these guys offenses and their opportunity that they're stepping in is very unique unlike any other offense I I feel like you know let's start off with those of Kincaid he's going first round draft pick obviously Stefan digs there but they're bringing in him him in for a reason maybe I would say you know and we're kind of always been projecting this he can finish really high this year probably the highest finish working tight end I would say maybe top 10 top 12 feels really comfortable here and that would be I would say in my tier within my tier five every micro mayor going into you know this Raiders offense with no one around him besides Avanti Adams what's the quarterback play now that's a good question maybe I'll feel more comfortable with the nerve Smith maybe I'll feel more comfortable with the you know a Trey McBride in the second half of the season so there could be a conversation in Sam laporta Jameis Winston is going to miss the first six weeks of the Season he's stepping in a Monroe Saint Brown's there they have some Williams Jamison Williams excuse me a Monroe Saint Brown is there obviously they bring in Jamir Gibbs you know and maybe in the first six weeks he can be something special and maybe that continues or maybe it doesn't um but I feel more I feel really confident drafting the rookies over I would say I would argue Irv Smith that would be the only argument and maybe maybe that will be something where we see different obviously we see differently but Irv Smith with that offense with Joe burrow and how Hayden Hurst stepped in last year maybe there can be an argument for sure but I'm not really wanting to lean and Juwan Johnson um Trey McBride in in a redraw perspective or Mike ezeki so that's why they're potential streamers um but I can kind of see it by the way these aren't guys that I truly want to advocate for because maybe there is something else later on down the road but just so people understand where I have these guys in my tears um just want to start the conversation I have to just step in here and be the uh you know the uh the wet blanket if you will I I wrote an article about this on flock fantasy and I think it happens often because we do love these tied in prospects but we we kind of set two high expectations I'm not saying that you have in particular just in general I feel like that's the case typically Titans are that expectations are too high for them as rookies and the history it's not even like the history is iffy but historically it's it's really really bad I mean they're gonna have to overcome some huge historical trends um so if you look at uh top 12 finishes from uh rookies who were drafted in the second round that's never happened we've never had a top 12 finish and sorry in the last decade this this Dad is all from the last decade we've never had a second round pick finish as a top 12 tied in um and we've only had 22 percent of first round Titans finishes the top 12 tight end in fact if you look at the average fantasy finish for rookie tight ends in the last decade first round picks are averaging Titan 25 finish which means if this is our top 24 rookie Titans who are drafted in the first round aren't even averaging a top 24 finish right right um and then in the second round tight ends in the last decade who were drafting the second round as a rookie they've finished averaging Titan 44. so I understand um I like these prospects in Dynasty I think they could become something very special I just think we need to lower our expectations um but to me in the middle why don't you choose one of these guys that you want to bring into tier five then I'm assuming it's Kincaid yeah it will be Kincaid so I'll be happy to just move one one of them down or one of them up uh and to see how we pan out yeah I have a little bit lower expectations Maybe I'm Wrong maybe this is the year that these you know rookie tight ends break the mold of History uh but I'm just a little bit more concerned than your average person sure okay so let's go to tier five and what I named this tier by the way is low end starters okay uh so that's how I kind of uh was placing it I don't know that you can really draft all Kincaid at the end of your draft and expect him to start week one do you know what I mean sure like sure it's that that's that would be really tough for me to have that expectation of him maybe I'm wrong but I've got Hayden Hurst here um Hayden Hurst signed big money in Carolina that rookie quarterback bryshen is going to need a safety blanket I think Hayden Hurst can be that for him this is where I would have Gerald Everett I'm not sure where you stand with him but um he was very good last year given the expectation finished as a Titan 13 averaging 9.3 points per game again it's not sexy when it comes to these tight ends but top 13 finish I now have them ranked as a low end starter you add in Quentin Johnston I still think he's going to be important to the offense yeah look what what Gerald Everett he is a guy that I am a little bit hesitant on because the only reason the production was there was because Keenan Allen and Mike Williams missed a lot of time and he kind of stepped up if you really look into what he he did in the first the first 10 weeks where Kian Allen and Mike kianalamus you know the first half of the Season he'd come back to like week 11 week 12 and then Mike EV Mike Williams excuse me was in and out he was tied in nine in the first 10 weeks and in the second half of the season when King Allen did come back he was tied in 16. so there's a big difference there not saying and the reason why I have him here is because I'm expecting them to get injured right so like if miraculously they play more than what the seven games that they played this year or this past year then I think Joe Everett could be a guy that we kind of see fading out slowly especially with them drafting Quentin and now okay sure Keenan is out Quentin's in or Mike's out quinton's in let's see how that really works out this year but yeah I I have Joe Everett here in this tier yeah that wouldn't surprise me at all this is a guy like in a 20 round re-draft League you take with your last pick you know yeah he is my Titan 16 you mentioned back half of the Season he was the Titan 16 so maybe that's maybe that's a safe ranking for him um a name by the way that I don't think we've really talked about at all on the dynasty Channel this off season I have Tyler Higby here it's it's really weird he's my Titan 15 but if you think about it in Los Angeles who is going to get opportunities outside of Cooper cup it's probably going to be time it could be yeah look I love hookah I have low expectations for him to start though and if you look at uh average Target so targets per game we actually had Tyler Higby in the top five last year so we could be potentially sleeping on a name like Tyler Higby again fifth in targets per game he had more targets per game last year than Kyle Pitts Dalton result Evan Ingram Dallas Goddard David and joku Greg dolsich George Kittle Darren Waller more targets per game than all of those names in the 2022 season he could be a really sleep uh I guess uh sneaky sleeper tied in here in 2023. yeah and I think that's definitely the case um what he finished tied in a top tied in six this past year and I think a lot of that did have to do with it really that's yeah it's wild and that had that had a lot to do with Cooper cup missing the second half the season but even then even then in the first half of the Season he was decent you know what finished Titan eight one week tied in 13 Titan 13 tied in 12. these are decent finishes for a guy yeah for a guy that went undrafted so uh I do have him in this tier as well just there's no the expectations know the ex know that he probably won't have this amazing finish that he had this year kind of like a gel Everett Cooper Cubs coming in you know maybe they get more involved with Van Jefferson or puka whatever the case may be cam makers is now healthy so let's see what happens but I think lower maybe the station should be low expectation starters you know like yeah yeah I mean that's I mean low end starters pretty much the same thing yeah so that's how I'm seeing it yeah I think uh that's those are all good points uh I've got three more tight ends in this tier one being Cole Comet come on baby so you're my guy last year he did redeem himself towards the end of the season now look it wasn't any sexy year or whatsoever he did redeem himself towards the end of the season finishes the Titan eight on a per game basis he was lower averaged 8.7 points per game but it's encouraging that the the the good streak came towards the end of the season and it wasn't at the beginning and then it fizzled out I mean we like to see trends that could lead into next year Coke met you know now has DJ Moore alongside of him and darno Mooney so there should be more space over the middle of the fields I think you know he's still worthy of being one of those late round picks as a starter you're not gonna rely on him to win championships but if you pass on the position take a shot on him that's how I feel yeah absolutely and I was just thinking tied in eight what was my take must have been like top ten it wasn't sexy maybe it definitely hit the unfortunate part though is that the people who drafted him would have dropped himself to the way from someone else probably would have got that production and what can you do but it redeemed in the end two more tight ends I have here one is Greg dulcich and the other is Dalton Schultz um you know Dalton Schultz I almost want to put him in a tier above this I'm just concerned overall about the offense in Houston just as a whole across the board you know typically we don't see rookie LED quarterback sorry rookie quarterback LED offenses be very successful right it's just not common doesn't mean that CJ Shad can't be that guy because he he looks very Pro ready but Dalton Schultz maybe he should be in a higher tier he is one of four names that I think could lead their team in targets at the Titan position um one being Travis Kelsey one Mark Andrews three Darren Waller four Dalton Schultz so maybe he should be higher but um I think he's my favorite of this bunch of like these late late round hey like you punted so far take a shot on Dalton Schultz yeah agreed I like it this is exactly what I have on in in my tier there is one more person okay and a guy that we both love a guy will be telling everyone to go buy and trade for whatever the case may be the Dynasty and green draft that's jig yes and I have chicken tier four but go ahead I I have him in this tier because I don't know the way my tears are constructed I'm not necessarily sure he fits with the other people and my tier four is my my smallest here by the way um so I'm not necessarily sure if you can fit in my tier four with what we've seen with the other two guys here but he is my first tight end in my tier five so that's where I'm at but still love chig love to hear what you're thinking yeah so back half of the Season Chicago was the Titan seven and that was playing a very low percentage of the snaps and he still finished Titan seven and maybe it's a little bit of projecting with me when it comes to Chico conko sure and you know I found in this offseason I'm a little bit higher on trailon and chick than yourself overall just overall um I do believe the offense is built around Derrick Henry but I think the coaching staff in the in the new gym is very well aware that there's clear limitations there and they're not going to be able to build around a 30 year old running back forever right I think they're aware that there's there needs to be some focal pieces that come out here in 2023 and I think one of those would be treilon the other would be chica conquo like I said second half of the season ended up as a tight M7 and when I say he wasn't averaging a lot of snaps I'm saying under 50 of the snaps he will step in here in 2023 and it's just projecting but I feel very confident in it he's going to be a 70 80 snap guy and I mean I think he's going to be a very very reliable starter what I labeled this tier here is just solid starters okay not guys who are going to win your leagues but they're going to get you eight to eight to ten points right they're going to get you seven to to nine points per game on a weekly basis and there will be weeks that they win you weeks but that it's not going to be every single week so I would like to advocate for jig here yeah um and the solid starters tier happy for that but yeah I think when you again we think about Trends to end the year it's good to know that you know chig put up those numbers with Ryan Tannehill it's good to know that the team to end the season they were trending in the direction of utilizing chig more and more and more um again Titan seven to finish the year uh back half of the year so I feel very good about jig stepping in I just think there's this office is going to be built around trailon and chig yeah um I hear you so yeah maybe I am too high on him maybe I am but once again I'm not like a anti-jig this is more me playing conservative if if I'm really going to go for these tight ends I just don't think he fits here but I'm interested to see who you have in this tier tier four yeah so the other names that I have in this tier four would be David and joku I think he's a solid starter I will put Pat fryer meth in this tier okay and I will put Evan Ingram in this tier okay and you know again Chicago if you're only if like if people are gonna watch this video and they're just gonna look at Fantasy finishes last year you'd be like okay this guy has no idea what he's talking about like why are they even in the same category well Evan Ingram averaged 10.4 points per game David and joku averaged 10.1 and Pat frying me with averaged 9.9 I have a little bit more hesitations on Pat just breaking out when you've got George Pickens you've got deante Johnson there right I'm a little bit more concerned about his Target share in that offense whereas chig I think he'll be a more important piece to the passing offense and you can make a case that maybe Evan Ingram is a little bit too low but if Evan Ingram last year averaged 10.4 points per game and now you add Calvin Ridley yeah I'm just not sure that that's going to Skyrocket right so again it's projecting myself to have lower expectations for these three guys as a whole that's not again I think they're all solid starters I think you can draft them with confidence but me projecting chick to become one of those eight to ten you know Point per game guys here in 2023 so that's that's the way I'm looking at it okay so the only two players I have in this tier was Evan Ingram and David and joku I have Pat okay frying youth in my tier three and obviously which we talked about in tier five so that's the difference and you know going baseball for the Finish is kind of like what we're talking about everything we're tied in five don't uh David and Joker Titan 11 of really late and the guy 10.1 fantasy points per game I think he was like top 10 in points per game or top eight or something like that in points per game which is really decent for a guy though uh David and joku David and Joker okay you know at 10.1 um yeah fantasy points per game so I feel really confident with both of those guys being both solid starters and I I'm seeing the regression because I do believe is going to see you know another take a big step so what's obviously I'm really there um for Evan Ingram David and joku scene with uh seeing him with Elijah Moore let's see how that kind of pans out so that's how I have my tier for so I'm probably a little bit more hesitant on Kenny Pickett and Pat Friedman as a whole compared to you so I can see where you're coming from what I labeled this tier three and maybe let me say how I have it labeled and you can agree or disagree with me I lame I labeled this game changing tight ends okay these are Titans that can absolutely change your weekly um fantasy production like that's the way I'm looking at they can make a huge difference on your roster uh this is where I would have Kyle Pitts yes um this is where I would have Dallas Goddard yes this is where I would have a George Kittle yes this is where I would have a TJ Hawkinson and this is also where I would have Darren Waller who is my Titan three by the way on the year I don't know that I'm drafting again the way I utilize my tears is okay if that player is gone at least I still have this other guy in that tier I feel good I don't feel that way about Pat frying youth Maybe I'm Wrong but when I look at these names these are all game-changing tight ends guys who can get you 30 points you know in in in in a week or so right it's within the realm of possibilities for them and they're always going to give you that solid kind of five sorry a 10 12 points per game a little bit of projecting there with Kyle Pitts but that's why I struggled to put Pat in that category because I don't think he has the same ceiling I don't think he has the same outcome um but you know maybe our tears are are a little bit different I'm not sure yeah and that's what we see differently I do have Pat in in the tier three which I feel comfortable with um the only difference I have here because all these guys are in this deer besides one and that is DJ Hawkinson um I actually have him in the tier two with one other tight end um and tied into this past year steps into an offense now yes Jordan steps into a new offense with Kirk Cousins Justin Jefferson and now Jordan Addison but I still believe he will be okay A a target a Target Hog on honestly where okay where yes Jordan NASA's gonna get a hundred plus targets I mean TJ Hawkinson got 129 targets and I don't even know how many targets he had I wish I knew the number on the top of my head but with um with the Vikings alone I'm pretty sure he has gotten at least 80 percent of those targets with those with the Vikings and I would say he probably has a over 80 80 targets let's just say hypothetically over 80 Targets in the second half when he did get traded which I still feel comfortable with um coming in I think he's going to be he's going to take a he's going to be there he's going to be there I think a lot of people are hesitant on him taking a backstep with Jordan Addison taking over Adam thielen but I think it actually gives him more room to work uh so I just feel like it's often it I just feel really confident with TJ and being in my tier two and being my Titan in this case my tight end three so yeah okay so Darren Waller is my Titan three okay um that's okay shout out to the New York I would take Darren Waller over TJ Hawkinson personally when I look at those two offenses uh who is the offense built around it's built around Justin Jefferson and I think it'll be built around Jordan Addison in in Minnesota I think at the end of the year you're going to see Addison become the second receiving option and I think Hawkinson falls to the third he's definitely not ever becoming the first right right like it's just not within the realm of outcomes that TJ Hawkinson is going to be the number one Target on this team um I said earlier there was four tight ends that I envisioned this year who could lead their team in targets Darren Waller is one of those tight ends I think he could lead the New York Giants in targets no disrespect to Wanda Robinson Paris Campbell no no no whoever else that you guys have brought in I don't care they're they're not the same Talent as Darren Waller and yeah definitely not Jalen Hyatt no disrespect but this third round rookie is not going to come in and demand targets like Darren Walder will win healthy he has been absolutely incredible let's hopefully that he hope that he stays healthy because I think he'll be Daniel Jones best friend here in 2023. absolutely and I I mean if I had to put a bet on it right now who's going to get more targets if all players stay healthy I will put Darren Waller pretty comfortably ahead of TJ Hawkinson um but maybe that's just me projecting a little bit too much maybe I don't have you know the right faith in TJ Hawkinson I just feel like and maybe I don't know I just feel like he's like he's a fine starter but I don't know that there's like this upside to finish as a Titan one like I don't see that being a possibility for him okay um and that's fair and that's fair like I I said that I don't I see him finishing as Titan one I see him still competing to be in the top three and Darren Waller is 100 in there I'll even say Dallas goddard's in there I think he would have finished Titan like a top three top four title this past year so all these guys I think I would say however way you kind of want to mix it I'm really happy now we can break down each offense but I think I'm going with I think here I'm going with what the offensive I feel more comfortable in and I'm a Giants fan so like I love that you're saying Darren Waller is going to lead and he's gonna be the number one target but I'm all I also see them spreading the ball around because that's exactly what they did last year even though they didn't have their number one target like a Darren Walden now where sure he and TJ Hawkinson we know they're going to spread the ball around we know he's going to be a red zone threat we know Kirk Cousins is going to find him in the middle of the field we saw that especially in the second half of the season when he didn't really know the offense he was still learning he was still trying to understand and I feel really comfortable with that I guess that thought process when I think of drafting my tight end so I feel like TJ again the way I use my tears I've said this a lot on different videos is if a player if I miss on a player am I like am I upset like do I do I feel like I missed out on a top tier right if TJ Hawkinson goes off the board this is why I have him in this tier with Darren Waller and George Kittle like if TJ Hawkinson goes off the board I'm completely fine I'm not phased by it in the draft right sure like I'll get George Kittle George Kittle probably I mean he had a higher points per game than TJ Hawkinson himself last year right so like if if Dallas Goddard Falls to me if Darren Walter follows me fine maybe that just means I don't view TJ Hawkinson the the way the rest of the community does and I'll be happy to let other people draft him if he goes off the board I feel fine because someone probably overdrafted him and then I can get Darren Waller Kittle Goddard late um but yeah I would have Mark Andrews in this tier too and Travis Kelsey in the tier one I'm sure you're the same exactly um Mark Andrews is a tough one because a lot of like a lot of those games towards the end of the season that weren't so hot came from Tyler Huntley um Lamar Jackson had some injuries Mark Andrews himself had some injuries but this is the Mark Andrews is the only tight end in like the last decade might be like last eight or seven years I can't remember exactly but the last decade or so who has at one point superseded Travis Kelsey as a Titan one and Dynasty in in redraft so you're careful like he is and so we're only a couple years removed from him being the Titan one right so I mean to me again I I just think Mark Andrews and TJ Hawkinson I would have in different tiers um but maybe that just means I'll pass on TJ Hawkinson and read draft leagues this year because I don't think you're alone in putting TJ Hawkinson all the way up there yeah yeah and I've yeah once again I just feel comfortable and I I'm happy with I'm happy with with TJ there so I feel really confident let us know in the comments if you feel like you like TJ Hawkinson sure yeah let us know um why don't we just to finish quickly show exactly how we actually have our individual tiers sure this is what the collective list ended up looking like um for me I would actually have Pat frying youth down a tear um I would have TJ Hawkinson down a tear and that's pretty much what it would look like outside of me putting Dalton Kincaid maybe down a tear as well um what would your final List look like then so I actually have Dalton Kincaid Michael Mayer Sam laporta all in that all in low end starters um it's a lot of them in there because of the video yeah the video yeah a lot of and that's one of my biggest tiers I also have chica quanquo down um with Pat frymouth up um okay yeah Pat fry mute up and I also have TJ Hawkinson up as well okay so in reality just move check down and then move uh Michael Mary and Sam laporta up and that's exactly how my
