🔥MUST SEE Week 5 INJURY UPDATES 🔥- Fantasy Football Advice

yo what is going on headliner Nation it's your boy the doc and we are back for the week five injury update show you guys know the deal by now each and every week I and actual doctor will go through the entire NFL slate tell you about all the injuries that you need to know about for your fantasy teams and we've got by weeks this week so these injuries are going to be even more important as we have a smaller player pool to choose from when we're setting our lineups so let's get into it all right guys again as a general PSA these are projections so I'm not guaranteeing that a guy will play or won't play Just based on my professional opinion and what I'm seeing so far in the practice reports we do have four teams on by this week so we're not going to spend any time talking about them Lions Chargers Eagles Titans if you have a question about a player on one of those teams let me know in the comments down below but again for time sake we're just going to skip those teams all together let talk a little bit about Thursday Night Football bucks at the Falcons great game going into overtime Falcons getting the win lots of scoring in this game so hopefully started a few guys from either team and got a little bit of a boost heading into the weekend bucks didn't have anybody injured coming into this game looks like they got out of it relatively clean from an injury perspective Falcons had a little bit of a concern with Drake London early in the game he left came back managed to put up a huge performance for you so if you started him good job with that bejan Robinson pretty light game by his standards he did come in with a hamstring issue so you have to wonder that wasn't bothering him a little bit maybe limited his upside in this matchup when the team is throwing for over 500 yards in a game in beon doesn't have a great game during it it's kind of concerning but again short week does have an injury with this hamstring issue so not totally surprising but you probably started him he was really the only one outside of the Bucks running backs that really disappointed all the wide receivers pretty much hit at or above expectations in this game so we like to see that from a fantasy perspective Ive heading into the Sunday slate first up we got a London game this game will start early on Sunday make sure you set your lineups on Saturday night Jets at Vikings Jets quarterback Aaron Rogers has a knee issue he missed the stretching portion of practice on Wednesday so the team had to put him on the report being limited but he's fine he is expected to play Vikings don't really have any injuries and they do have a byee coming up so they look to be pretty healthy and are playing some really good football so if they can get through this game they've got a little bit of time to rest they should be one of the healthier teams in the league moving on to the Panthers at the Bears Panthers have 19 players on the injury report this week but wide receiver Deontay Johnson is the one that I'm paying the most attention to he has an ankle sprain similar to last week Deontay is taking it easy in practice but is expected to play Deontay has been the wide receiver three since Andy Dalton took over at quarterback so you're definitely throwing him into your lineups if you've got him as for the Bears Cole KT has a knee injury but I do expect him to be able to play in this game moving on to the Ravens at the Bengals and we're not going to spend much time on this one cuz both of these teams are relatively healthy heading into this game so we're going straight to bills at Texans Bills wide receiver khil shakure dealing with an ankle sprain he's going to be a game time decision he has not practiced yet this week concerning even though he came back in the game in week three some sometimes the ankle especially adrenaline will put you through the game game but once it the game is over and you calm down the ankle starts swelling up it becomes an issue later a lot of players end up coming back into games and then missing the next week could be the situation with Shakur here and then we got Texans running back Joe Mixon deal with an ankle sprain as well don't expect him to play in this game reportedly didn't suffer a setback in practice this week but it's not a good sign that he was limited last Friday but hasn't gotten any work yet this week I'm going to guess we're still a week or two away from Joe Mixon returning wide receiver tank Dell who missed last week with a rib contusion is expected to play in this game he missed week four he's back practicing more of a pain management issue I would expect that he'd be able to play through it but again don't be surprised if he's kind of a really late scratch for this game if the pain is getting to be too much for him as he gets into contact don't be surprised if tank Dell misses another game due to this rib contion they can be be incredibly painful and just difficult to play through at times but he is practicing so again I would expect him to be able to play next up we got Colts at the Jaguars Colts running back Jonathan Taylor dealing with that high ankle sprain the team has called this minor but even mild high ankle sprains can be a bear to play through so I would not be surprised if he misses this game have a backup plan in place they haven't officially ruled them out as of this recording but I wouldn't be surprised if they do so again he's not practicing so far this week quarterback Anthony Richardson has an oblique injury this was initially diagnosed as a hit pointer injury which is more of a bruise but now the team's calling it an oblique my guess is there's a little bit of both going on here he's going to be a game time decision the team's going to decide whether or not to let him play this week or let him get fully healthy the question is is that actually a good thing for the Colts pass catchers Richardson currently just completing 53% of his clean pocket passes that is worst in the league and he's tied for the most interceptions in the NFL so he was not throwing the ball particularly well Joe flacko looked really good when he came in last week as for the Jaguars tight end Evan Ingram deal with that hamstring strain he is back practicing in a limited capacity I expect that he will return to this game in some capacity whether or not it'll be full reps it's hard to say right now but with how bad the tight end position has been can't even be mad if you choose to start him running back Travis etn has a shoulder sprain not really sure if this is really an injury or not both Jags running backs have been limited all week but it's hard to sit Travis etn given the draft cap capital that you gave him but that was a weird situation last week I don't know for sure if he really has an injury or if he was just being benched the team hasn't really said much about it but he has not played well thus far this year but again from a draft Capital perspective it's hard to sit a guy down after just four weeks of disappointment moving on to the Dolphins at the Patriots Dolphins have a buy next week but they lost linebacker Jaylen Phillips to a major knee injury he's been ruled out for the season running back Raheem moer still deal with the chest injury he's going to be a game time decision he continues to miss games despite practicing my guess is that with the bye coming up he's ultimately going to sit in this game as well wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr though coming back from the ACL tear last year he is expected to come off the pup this week some positive injury news I don't get to share a lot of positive injury news so it's good to see somebody coming back from injury obj looks to be on Pace to return we'll look to see how much work he gets in the first week back and if he is used primarily uh as just a decoy or if they're actually going to run specific routes for him uh to get involved in this passing game as for the Patriots they've got 16 players on the injury report but the biggest one it's actually their Center David Andrews dealing with a shoulder injury he has to have surgery on that injury and has been ruled out for the season so you hate to see that for the Patriots they also have a wide receiver coming back from an ACL tear in Kendrick Bourne he returned to practice but he's more of a game time decision I'm not so sure that he will be able to play in this game heading over to the Browns at the commanders Browns have 18 players on the injury report but running back Nick chub was able to come back to practice this week after starting the year on the pup the good news is that he's back practicing the bad news is I don't expect that he will play this week he's getting closer but I think the team is going to wait a few more weeks see how he feels and when he's actually practicing in full before they throw him into a game tight end David nooku on the other hand has that high ankle sprain really thought that we were going to see nooku this week practiced it on Wednesday but then got downgraded to a no practice on Thursday if njoku doesn't play I am heading over to underdog using the code Headliners when I sign up for up to $11,000 in bonus cash with my first deposit and I'm throwing a bet on aari Cooper hes in the receiving yards prop bets you've got to go over to Underdog make some bets on aari kooper this week especially if David nooku does not play the commander not very good against the pass and I think that is a free bet for you this week and then the brownz o line is really banged up right now two tackles and their Center all expected to miss this game due to injury as for the commanders Brian Robinson Jr has a knee issue he's going to be a game time decision has not practiced yet this week didn't look like he was injured last week couldn't really find any injury or play where it looked like he had gotten hurt but again no practices a little bit concerning don't like to see a guy not getting any work but uh the good news is is that Austin Eckler is expected to come back from his concussion he's practicing in full on Thursday I think he will play this week so even if Brian Robinson can't go you're still going to have one of the starting running backs able to play moving on to the midday slate we got Raiders at the Broncos Raiders have 16 players on the injury report nine of them have not practiced at all through Thursday so really a lot of guys missing practice for the Raiders right now defensive in Max Crosby Devonte Adams both of those guys not expected to play this week zamir white also dealing with a groin strain he got downgraded in practice on Thursday so keep an eye on that if you're looking to start a running back for the Raiders I don't know why you would but if you are just know he is banged up right now as for the Broncos running back Tyler batty dealing with a back injury kind of a scary situation last week he collapsed on the side of the field after taking a big hit I don't expect that we will see him anytime soon but it doesn't sound like this was a crazy Serious injury um outside of the fact that he collapsed so all the tests are coming back relatively positive but they don't expect him to play anytime time soon moving on to the Cardinals at the 49ers Cardinals tight end try McBride has a concussion but he is practicing in full on Thursday would expect him to play this week their kicker Matt Prader though not expected to play with a knee injury so keep that in mind if you play in a league with kickers as for the 49ers tight end George KD has a rib contusion he's going to be a game time decision not practicing yet same thing with linebacker Fred Warner both of these guys not practicing yet this week they're both guys that could conceivably go on Sunday even if they aren't practicing of the two KD has a more concerning injury history and history of missing games probably more likely to actually sit so just keep an eye on that and have a backup plan in place if you are planning on starting George KD moving on to the Packers at the Rams Packers wide receiver Christian Watson dealing with a high ankle sprain he is not expected to play this week got his leg kind of twisted up under a Defender while trying uh to make a tackle or he was trying to make a catch but the defender was trying to make a tackle while he was making the catch either way leg gets twisted up the team's describing as a high ankle sprain but it's mild still not expected to play this week Luke Musgraves also expected to miss this game due to an ankle injury and then the Rams have a byee next week so Cooper cup not expected to come back this week he's still doing with that high ankle sprain I've said all along that I thought he would maybe potentially be able to come back after the week six buy for the Rams so we're still on Pace for that also on pukaa watch for him to come back after the buy those are two guys that if you're looking to buy a wide receiver right now you can probably get him on the cheap with the bye coming up a lot of teams looking for guys that can start form right away they're on a bad team I'm starting to Target those types of players CU they are both expected to come back for the second half of the season next up we got Giants at the Seahawks Giants wide receiver Malik neighbors has a concussion I don't expect that he will be able to come back this week we rarely see players return in just one week after a concussion anymore it's almost unheard of very few players actually making it back in just one week I hope that maybe with 10 days of rest between games he could be an exception but barring a really quick return to practice uh and a game day clearance I don't think that we will see Malik neighbors they said they're still working through the day-to-day with him so don't be surprised if neighbors is totally out of this game running back Deon single has a groin injury I don't think he's going to be able to play either so it might be worth a look to pick up a guy like Tyrone Tracy a rookie that has not gotten a lot of opportunity if he could pop off he could even take touches away from Devin single ter if he returns next week uh ju Del Robinson has a heal injury but I do expect him to play as for the Seahawks they've got 20 players on the injury report but and a lot of big names but not really anyone that I think has a chance of missing this game Tyler Lockett DK metf Kenneth Walker thei third all expected to play in this game so we're just going to move on to Sunday Night Football we got Cowboys at the Steelers Cowboys have some big names expected to miss this week Micah Parsons de with an ankle sprain he's already been ruled out same thing with Brandon Cooks and his knee injury as for the Steelers they're running out of running backs right now Jaylen Warren has a knee injury he's not expected to play this week neither is Cordo Patterson dealing with the ankle sprain so Naji Harris kind of the last guy remaining with the Steelers want to see maybe if they'll use Calvin Austin a little bit more in the running game or if they've got another guy to to work in a little bit more with Naji Harris or if this just means Justin Fields is going to be the rb2 for the team put up a really great week running last week we'll see if he can come back and put up another great week for your fantasy team again they've got two linebackers dealing with issues Alex heith and Nick herbick his backup of the two heith and his groin strain does seem to be the one that's the most likely to miss this game last game of the week we got Saints at the Chiefs Monday Night Football now again with Monday Night Football specifically those practice reports are just walkthrough practices typically on Thursday so I don't have a lot of data to go off of but I do know that Tamm Hill has a rib fracture and I don't expect him to be able to play Alvin kamaro missing some practice time but not too concerned about it I think he'll be able to go as for the Chiefs they have a byee next week and they desperately need it their team is really banged up right now already lost Isaiah Pacho for the next couple months and then Rashi rice coming off of a major knee injury last week freaky injury I'll just put it that way it's pretty rare that a quarterback diving to make a play after he threw a pick injures his best wide receiver but that's exactly what happened the team has said initially that they think that this is an ACL tear now they're running more test they've got to wait for the swelling to go down I would say that the most likely scenario is that Rice does have an ACL tear we don't expect to see him again in the regular season I'm not saying go drop him immediately but just know the most likely outcome even with more tests is that rice is done for the year so don't really hold your breath on him being able to come back for the fantasy season or really just for the NFL season at all all right guys that's it for this week's injury update show make sure you're paying attention to the pinned comment down below
