🔥 WEEK 7 TE MUST Start/Sit Analysis! 🚀 | 2024 Fantasy Football Advice
[Music] yo what is going on headliner Nation I've got some good news and some bad news for you and let's start with the bad news tight ends are still as inconsistent as they've been all season long we have not seen any pickup at the position so far there's some big games from guys and then they disappear in other games but the good news is is that the position is no worse off now than it was was at the beginning of the Season either unfortunately this is probably going to be a trend all season long and the one thing that we just need to keep doing is focusing on tight ends that can either get us touchdowns or the ones that are going to have the best Target share so as always we're going to spend the next few minutes jumping into every single matchup for the tight end position and talking about who we should be looking to start and who are some guys that we shouldn't even be considering this week but before we jump into all the information I got to remind you that we're doing a huge giveaway right now and all you need to do is head on over to Underdog and sign up with a new account download the app use code word Headliners when you create your new account make a deposit of at deposit bonus of up to $1,000 by using our code and first up is going to be Denver and New Orleans on Thursday Night Football and Lucas kraw took over as the tight end one this past week for the Denver Broncos but they've kind of been sorting through those guys pretty religiously to begin the season one guy's the tight end one and then someone else's the very next week New Orleans allows the six most receiving yards to the tight end position but really with what we're seeing right now with Denver I don't know if I'm willing to risk it maybe if you're filling out like a DFS lineup maybe Lucas croll is someone you could take a look at or maybe a pick them for him but I'm absolutely not going to risk it in a redraft league unfortunately last week with Spencer Rattler starting at quarterback it didn't lead to a whole lot of targets for Joan Johnson or Foster Moro they only combined for five total targets even though they had the biggest plays of the day and once again you could try to utilize one of these guys in week seven but who is it going to be Jaan Johnson has the most touchdown upside Foster Maro may end up having the best floor whether it's in the open field or prior to getting into the Red Zone Maro isn't nearly as big of a threat in the red zone is what Johnson is so he may be a little bit more consistent on the floor well Johnson could be a little bit more consistent with the ceiling all right Hunter Henry I'm ready to get hurt again you showed up last week in Drake May's first game scored a touchdown second on the team and targets and we've seen it happen time and time again where Hunter Henry gives us a fantasy viable game and then disappears for weeks well you know what I'm ready to take another shot because with Drake May quarterback maybe it is a little bit more consistent and I would give anything for that going up against a Jacksonville team that has allowed the most touchdowns to tight end so far this season there's definitely risk with starting Hunter Henry but I'm ready to take that risk once again Evan Ingram looked great in his return from injury last week and now he goes up against a New England team allowing the ninth most receiving yards to the tight end position if he can be number one or two on the team every single week in targets he's going have one of the better floors of any tight end in fantasy football he won't ever have the ceiling just like last season because he's not going to score touchdowns enough but he will be safe enough that we can be starting him every single week and we'll be okay with that outcome man it's almost like if Seattle were to give Noah fan enough targets every single week he would give him consistent production but they just don't do that he has two games this season where he had at least six targets both of those times he finishes a top 12 12 tight end he has four games this season where he had four or fewer targets and those four games he finished outside the top 25 tight ends so if you at least give him the targets he's performing well it's not like he's getting targets and doing nothing with them and I know you've got three wide receivers that are absolutely balling out at times but can we get him six targets per week if they did then we could start him every single week Kyle pittz now has back-to-back weeks with 70 or more receiving yards and for the first time in what feels like forever he's got back-to-back weeks where he's at top 12 tight end and now going up against Seattle he's going to be facing a defense that currently allows the third most receiving yards to the tight end position can we get three straight weeks of top 12 performances I'm crossing my fingers for you none of the Tennessee tight ends are going to be fantasy viable anytime soon so let's focus in on Dalton Kade who has new teammate that could end up affecting his targets right now cancade leads the Buffalo Bills and targets with 37 however by adding Amari Cooper to the mix there may be a lot of people freaking out about whether or not King Kate is going to be able to produce the rest of the season now my hope is is that Kade maintains his Target share because by adding Amari Cooper you could take away from Marquez vales scantling who was actually just released you could take away from Matt Collins and you could take away from Keon Coleman and then khil Shakir Amari Cooper and Dalton Kade can keep those targets and if that were to happen hopefully the efficiency and some big plays start to show up for Dal k k because what it feels like right now is that opposing defenses just aren't respecting the Deep ball and with Amari Cooper being able to make those plays down the field that could end up happening and if it does it could leave some more room for Dalton concade but we're going to have to figure out over the next couple of weeks exactly how this is going to play out Mike geki has all but disappeared from fantasy relevancy for Cincinnati at this point Drew sample Mike geki and Eric all all played 20 or more snaps last week and they all ran 13 or more routes they are all rotating evenly and unfortunately it would be a major coin flip to try and figure out which one on a weekly basis would help you David njoku wasn't on a snap count last week and he saw seven targets I was all in on David nooku in this matchup and that was even before Amari Cooper was traded and now I'm definitely in on David nooku and he's going to be my manscaped mustart tight end for the week Cincinnati is allowing the second most touchdowns and the fifth most fantasy points per game to the tight end position right now and there is going to be some extra targets for David nooku moving forward hopefully Elijah Mitchell and Jerry Judy are enough on the out outside that David N joku doesn't get bombarded over the middle but there's about to be so many targets to him that he could find himself as a top five tight end every week based on that volume alone and this week I'm all in and with the holidays coming up very soon you better be all in on making sure you get the right gift for your partner and you can do that by going on over to manscape and checking out all of their awesome tools especially their new line of tools that you'll absolutely fall in love with when you get ready to check out just use code word Headliners 20 and you're going to get 20% off your order and free shipping and get it in time for Christmas so you can either use those things as stocking stuffers or you can wrap them up and throw them under the tree if you tried to roll out dton Schultz last week you're probably not super happy with the results but he did have eight targets which was second most on the team and now he gets a match up with Green Bay that's likely to be a lot of neutral game script or a lot of back and forth and they allow the fifth most receiving yards to the tight end position so if you're having troubles at the tight end spot honestly there may not be a whole lot better options out there than Dalton Schultz who if he gives you six to eight targets once again should have a pretty decent floor let's just hope that he catches a few more of those this week last week Tucker Craft only had four targets and he caught two of those for 13 yards and this is what's going to happen in this Green Bay offense it's the same as the wide receiver right now the only guy that you can trust on their offense is Jaden Reed but then after that You' got some touchdown dependent plays that you kind of want to see big plays out of now davien Wicks he's going to be done for a couple of weeks it looks like because of that Tucker craft could make his way back up into a little bit more consistency but you've got Christian Watson back you've got Romeo dobs back Jaden Reed running the ball with Josh Jacobs Tucker craft is going to still be pretty volatile every sing single week but he's going to give you some good weeks as well with Tyler Huntley at quarterback jnu Smith saw eight targets back in week five if he can get six to eight targets once again in this matchup against Indianapolis he should absolutely be close to top 12 potential if not secured right inside of it maybe a little big playability but definitely a decent floor with that many targets if Tyler Huntley continues to look his way Joe Flaco's been looking towards Mo Aly Cox a little bit more often but it hasn't been super consistent and we also don't even know who the quarterback is going to be this week so unfortunately right now we're going to be skipping all the tight end options in Indianapolis now if for some reason Joe Flaco ends up starting this isn't the best matchup in the world for Mo Ali Cox but he could see some Targets in the Red Zone Sam leapa only saw one target last week but boy did he make it count and let's be completely honest by the end of that game Detroit was treating it like they had just smacked down some 9-year-old on Madden and they were just running every trick play that they could think of so while it was great to see the big play touchdown we need to get the targets up a little bit more and in any type of game that has a closer score more than likely Sam leor will be utilized a little bit more often but if you own Sam leapor you have to keep starting him you see it every single week with this offense yes they're going to run the football yes Jameson Williams is getting a bunch of targets and Aman Ross St Brown is still getting his but this may be the best offense in all of football and because of that you've got to start Sam leapa and just hope that he stays a little bit more consistent the rest of the year and really for Minnesota until TJ hackinson makes his return I probably won't be taking a shot at any of those tight ends they're going to have a touchdown every once in a while but Detroit's been pretty darn good against tight ends this season and I'm not really going to risk any of them in this matchup unfortunately Dallas Goddard is currently nursing a hamstring injury but I'm really not sure what his fantasy value would have been now that AJ Brown and Devonte Smith are back and when he went down last week Grant calcatera stepped in in his place caught all four of his targets for 67 yards but I really don't want to risk an eagles tight end not named Dallas got her especially in a matchup where sequin Barkley is probably going to get the ball an awful lot against his former team Theo Johnson could end up becoming a really good weapon for this New York Giants offense but unfortunately Daniel Jones treats him a lot like Jake's hairline he just can't see him if you love that joke as much as I did make sure you leave # Jake's hairline down in the comments so then he has to search the entire video for it Brock Bowers finds himself on the short list of tight ends that you can absolutely trust every single weeks and yeah he had a couple of stinkers this season but more times than not he's getting looked at quite a bit in this offense and with no Devonte Adams for the rest of the season you can expect those targets to continue and now he gets to face a Los Angeles Rams team that allows the most fantasy points to the tight end position but with Colby Parkinson and his role in this offense the only thing that's consistent about him is the inconsistency hopefully the usage that we saw for jatavian Sanders last week continues throughout the rest of the season 48 snaps and seven targets for tight ends is extremely fantasy relevant and if he can keep those numbers up we absolutely are going to start playing him more times than not this matchup may not be the best in the world to start with that but if he's out there on your waiver wire you should absolutely have them added if you're having issues finding consistency just like the rest of Carolina's defense they can't stop the tight ends either so this is a solid matchup for Zack Herz who led Washington with 68 receiving yards last week definitely not a ton of upside from Zack hers but he sees enough targets to at least give him a solid floor every single week and in this matchup the only thing I'm worried about is basically game script taking him out of the game plan by halftime Kansas City at San Francisco has two of the best tight ends that we can ask for in fantasy right now Travis Kelce has a little bit of a lower upside just because the big plays don't seem to be there but he's going to be getting tons of targets now that Rashi rice has lost for the season so for Travis Kelce we're definitely going to keep rolling with him for George KD he's obviously a star and he's got one of the highest upsides of any tight end in the league and one thing that's really changed for him this season is his floor has been super safe as well if that keeps up he can end up blowing away the number one tight end position by quite a few points well for this matchup I was going to talk about how Pittsburgh allows quite a few yards to the tight end position and how Tyler Conlin should see quite a few targets and he could be on track for a top 12 option this week and then the Jets went and traded for Von Adams that's out the door and Tyler Conlin should not be in any of your lineups this week and for Pat far youth I I mean listen I don't understand what the Steelers are doing and we'll talk about how Russell Wilson's now going to be the starter instead of Justin fields and I've already talked about I don't know what they're doing with George Pickins they're not using Jaylen Warren and Pat futh is getting like three targets a game this offense is a complete mess and I don't know what's going on with Mike Tomlin cuz I've always defended him as being a really good NFL coach but this season he just doesn't seem to have control over his offense and it's something that he needs to do soon or this could be a wasted season for Pittsburgh it was great to see Mark Andrews find The End Zone last week but by this time nobody was starting him anyway and I really don't know how we can rely on any tight end from Baltimore until we start to see these games pop up for multiple weeks in a row I don't need 60 or 70 yards in a tight in from Mark Andrews every single week but we need to start seeing 45 to 65 yard performances with multiple catches that at least establishes a decent floor for us and then we can start putting him back in our lineup and Isaiah likely is just going to be big play dependent probably for the entire season he's going to give you two or three fantasy points one week and he's going to give you 23 the next Baltimore is currently allowing the most receiving yards to tight ends I mean they allow the most receiving yards to every everybody at this point but for Kate hton this week he plays a lot of snaps he sees a decent amount of targets last week he did have a touchdown which was really the only thing he ended up doing but this week could be way more volume dependent for him and he could have a really safe floor for the Los Angeles Chargers Hayden Hurst is nursing an injury so will dley is going to be the primary tight end and we'll probably see a majority of the snaps this coming week that definitely could lead to some success for him but it's a little too rich risky for me to try and want to roll out anyway if you're in super deep leagues and you're looking for a tight end then maybe will disley could give you a shot but anything in 12 teams or less I'm staying away from it and Trey McBride is right in that group with George KD and Brock Bowers is the most reliable tight ends that we've had so far this season so sign me up for some Trey McBride this week he's coming off of a big game last week and Marvin Harrison Jr may not be ready to go and if he isn't that's just more Target Shar available to him yo headliner Nation hopefully you all enjoyed this video and I know tight end has been super frustrating this year but hopefully
