🔥 WEEK 2 WR MUST Start/Sit Picks! 🚀 | 2024 Fantasy Football Advice

did your wide receivers bail you out in week one or did they hurt you and send you to a fantasy loss well we've got a quarterback injury we've got a couple of guys still coming back from major injuries last season and a whole lot of quarterbacks that didn't play in the pre-season everyone's Rusty everyone's going to get better what wide receivers will dominate in week [Music] two yo what is going on headliner Nation it really felt like last week across the board there were some down performances just offense as a whole passing as a whole didn't feel as good as it has felt in years past and maybe it's the fact that we just have a lot of guys who didn't play at all in the pre-season and it showed but week two is an opportunity to bounce back and that's what we're looking for which wide receivers can bounce back which ones are Ken keep going strong and which ones are just out of luck and just to reiterate maybe you haven't been here before or you missed it in last week's videos but our start and sit analysis this season is way more streamlined and we take a little bit different approach to try and help you make better roster decisions with your lineups first and foremost we're diving into all the matchups we will have a defensive matchup rating on the screen underneath the players for the defense they will be playing against and then we're going to give them a risk designation are they lowrisk mid risk or are they high risk they may not be sits and they may not be starts but how much risk can you take on in your lineup can you put in somebody that has a huge ceiling but their floor is crap maybe you need to play it a little bit safe this week and you're going to put someone in that you know is going to get you some fantasy points that's what these videos are all about and typically Thursday Night Football doesn't bring a ton of high-end performances but with Buffalo and Miami meeting up this week that could be different I think we still have a whole lot of questions about the Buffalo wide receivers that may not be answered for a while longer khil Shakir and Matt Collins both found the end zone and scored a touchdown Keon Coleman led the wide receivers in targets but I don't know if we're going to find any consistency coming up but keep in mind those three guys put up some type of fantasy points here in week one but it also came at the expense of Dal conade and Dawson Knox they only had four combined targets what happens to the wide receivers when cancade gets going maybe cancade doesn't get going does Matt Collins actually secure a starting role in this lineup khil Shakir is he the PPR guy can Keon Coleman start breaking some big plays down the field there isn't just one guy this is not an offense like we've seen from buffalo in the past Josh Allen could be spreading the ball around the entire time and that could definitely cause some issues trying to find the right guy every single week if I had to guess Shakir or Coleman will end up being the most consistent option if that's what you're looking for and that's why they are in the medium risk category this week Thursday Night Football typically not great for offense but it's Miami and buffalo there's always a chance for a shootout and more targets for both of these guys buffalo's defense effectively shut down the passing game for the Arizona Cardinals last week but maybe it wasn't buffalo's defense that actually did it and it was just Arizona's offense not functioning the way that it should and even with those defensive numbers from Buffalo last week I'm not assuming very much risk with Jaylen Wadd or Tyreek Hill in fact I'm feeling so good about both of them they're both going in the lowrisk category for me and jayen wad is even going to go into an underdog slip and just in case buffalo's defense really is legit and does shut down the Miami Dolphins I took jayen Waddle's slider on the receiving yards and bumped it down to 592 and then took the over at a 0.9 multiplier which is something awesome that you can do over on Underdog right now if you see a line that you're not in love with you can use the slider move it up or down change the multiplier and then put it into your pick them and find something that you're way more confident in so all you need to do is head on over to Underdog and download the app make a $10 deposit into a new account using code word Headliners and you're going to get a special pick them almost guaranteed to hit and on top of it a deposit bonus of up to ,000 make sure you go get that done right away tail any of these picks that we're talking about and let's put together a big ticket for week two and if you're taking a look at Buffalo's numbers last week and it's concerning you and you have some fear about starting jayen Wadd this week keep in mind that Marvin Harrison Jr was overthrown by Kyler Murray on a couple of different passes including one that would have been a big play walk-in touchdown that probably would have changed the numbers that we saw from Buffalo last week quite a bit New Orleans got off to a great start against Carolina in week one but I don't think we even fully saw their offense get to tap into their potential they got up so quick and by so many they were just focused on running the football after that and I don't think we got to see Chris alive or really this offense as a whole start to break out some of the bigger plays down the field except for Rasheed Shahed we know he's always good for a big play now Shahed had five targets compared to Chris LA's two Targets but these are going to be the main wide receivers that we're going to see with the target share moving forward it would have been great to see Chris alive get a couple of more targets but who knows had that game been closer maybe he would have had those targets but I'm still worried about the potential floor for both of these guys going up against Dallas this week this is a Dallas secondary that held Cleveland wide receivers to 53 yards four wide receivers for Cleveland last week combined for those 53 yards this is still going to be a tough task for the New Orleans Saints if Derek Carr can take care of the ball and this game can stay close Chris alive and Rasheed Shahed should end up seeing a decent ceiling but the floor could fall out for either of them the Dallas wide receivers had a great day last week against the Cleveland Browns CD lamb caught five of his 10 targets he's still going to be a Target Monster this season Brandon Cooks caught four of his seven targets for 40 yards and scored a touchdown and with Jake Ferguson being banged up there's no clear number two Target on this team except Brandon Cooks no one's going to be challenging him for that spot right now so while Jake Ferguson is banged up Brandon Cook should see some pretty decent value the Saints did give up the ninth most receiving yards to wide receivers this past week and some of that has to do with the negative game script that Carolina was in probably that secondary just playing prevent defense for a majority of the rest of the way and just giving yards to Carolina because what else was there we're not going to get hurt out there being up by 40 something points a much more competitive game could bring some more hassle for Brandon Cooks this week we'll see if this New Orleans defense actually can stop the pass when it matters most and can they actually stop one of the best wide receivers and all of football is it just me or is it crazy that the Lions first two games of the season are rematches against the two opponents they beat in the playoffs last year Tampa Bay is going to get another shot here and Tampa Bay is in a good position to make a little bit of noise this time they might be a little bit more healthy and they might be a little bit more ready to go for the environment that they're going to be walking into I would love to say that the Detroit Lion secondary is improved and I do think over the course of the season it's going to get better they're still very young but Mike Evans and Chris Godwin absolutely could take advantage of it this week Mike Evans having a much higher ceiling while Chris Godwin has a much better floor with maybe a few more consistent targets the one thing I saw Detroit's defense do a lot better this past week against the LA Rams was containing that deep threat there was way too many times last season where they got beat on a huge play down the field really the biggest play for the Rams this past week was when some guys unfortunately lost their footing or didn't make a tackle like they were supposed to they did a good job of not letting guys in behind them and that's where Mike Evans has a little bit more risk he's definitely going to be down for a big play or two but if they have some of the same game plan like they did last week against Cooper cup they're going to want to keep Chris Godwin in front of them Baker Mayfield's going to get it out quick and really Chris Godwin could build up a nice amount of volume this week even if his ceiling isn't that great because the touchdown potentially goes to Evans instead but even with that being said Mike Evans is going to be my manscaped must playay wide receiver of the week I absolutely love his opportunity and how he's going to help Tampa Bay clean up against the Detroit Lions and if you need some help cleaning up as well especially in those hard to- reach places manscaped is exactly the company to do that for you head on over to manscape.com and take a look at their awesome line of tools and you'll find something that will be of big help to you use code word Headliners 20 when you check out and you're going to get 20% off your entire order and free shipping and over on Underdog I'm going to go take Mike Evans to go over his line of 69 and a half receiving yards again this Detroit secondary is going to get better as the season goes on but in week two going up against Mike Evans he's still going to find a way to make fantasy owners more than happy now there's going to be a lot of fantasy owners that are worried about Aman Ross a brown and you shouldn't be last week's game plan was just base around Jameson Williams Because Jameson Williams was open and this is an offense that has evolved to include a deep threat like Jameson Williams that they haven't had as of recent does it mess with the potential volume that Aman Ross St Brown may see consistently maybe it absolutely could give him a few less targets here or there but it's going to give Aman St Brown a bigger opportunity underneath when teams have to start dedicating one or more play players to making sure Jameson Williams isn't killing them deep did you see that Stutter Step stop and go that he played on the outside corner for that big touchdown that is a sick move and one that's going to make opposing defenses help over the top with a safety now Washington's offense last week against Tampa Bay didn't do a whole lot in the passing game so Washington's numbers look really really good against wide receivers but that's because the game plan with Jaden Daniels was explosive runs on the ground and get the ball out quickly the leading receivers last week were both of their running backs and their tight end that was it those were the three leading wide receivers last week for this Washington team Tampa Bay didn't really have to do a whole lot in the secondary this week against Detroit they're going to have to do a whole lot more Indianapolis and Green Bay was supposed to be the Battle of two of the better young quarterbacks in football and unfortunately we're only going to get to see one of those guys is Jordan love is likely going to miss anywhere from the next two to four weeks now he's not going on ir and I don't even think as of this recording he's actually been ruled out as of yet that will end up coming sometime soon he's definitely going to miss this week it sounds like and he may take a little bit of time to work his way back so this week against Indianapolis we'll see what ends up happening but when you take a look at what Indianapolis could do to Green Bay it's a familiar foe that plagued Green Bay when they played Philadelphia last week and it's the Deep pass Green Bay allowed 203 receiving yards to Philadelphia wide receivers in week one and a lot of that came on the big play a 67 yard touchdown went to AJ Brown Devonte Smith had a 25 yard grab and even though he's not a wide receiver Dallas SCD still had a big play as well that went for 21 yards but we saw Anthony Richardson deliver the Deep ball last week as well touchdowns of 60 and 54 yards now Alec Pierce was included in that big play and I would not be shocked if we saw him also get loose for a big play once again Josh Down Still questionable no guarantee he'll be out there and there would have been another big play too but Anthony Richardson just sailed Adan I Mitchell a little bit more than what he would have wanted to Adan I Mitchell is kind of the low man on the totem pole right now though he didn't see nearly as many snaps as what Pierce and Pitman did and without knowing about Downs it's hard to justify what exactly we would do with Mitchell for this week now Michael Pitman not really known for the big play ability but don't worry about him if he frustrated you in week one he saw eight targets which still led the Indianapolis Colts last week and he should still continue to lead them in targets as well all these guys should be in red they're all high risk if Malik Willis is going to be the quarterback not just this week but moving forward until Jordan love is healthy it's super unfortunate that love got hurt and if love had been playing in this game Jaden Reed would be a low-risk must start you would need to have him in your lineup but Malik Willis has been here before he started with Tennessee during some games and those didn't work out all that well and he couldn't get the ball to his top wide receivers either trying to do the same thing this week with Green Bay is going to be really really tough maybe somebody breaks away for a big play maybe someone scampers into the end zone for a big touchdown but it's going to be a whole lot of risk to Hope Malik Willis not only does that with one player but would try to figure it out with multiple guys I'm fully prepared to admit when I was wrong about something so Tennessee Titans fans here it is especially those of you in the comment section last week I was wrong about your defense it was a lot better than what I had anticipated and I didn't think that they were going to be completely ready to go to take on Chicago's Trio of wide receivers but they ended up doing just fine and if Will Levis had not been turning the ball over you probably end up winning that game but unfortunately it didn't go your way this week going up against the New York Jets though you could end up getting the better of them it just really depends on if Levis can take care of the ball this week now I still don't think that Aaron roders is fully physically ready or mentally ready to be on a football field going 100% right now it would have done him a lot of good to at least play a few snaps here or there in the preseason he's Rusty right now and he's not moving around in the pocket the way that he used to that may end up coming with time this season and really the reason I'm going with Garrett Wilson is a lowrisk and Alan Lazard is a medium risk this week is because I am fearful that will Levis is going to have issues with turnovers once again and that Tennessee's offense isn't going to be able to move the football against the Jets defense even though the Jets defense looked hug human last week against San Francisco that's two completely different offenses though with different Minds behind moving the ball down the field we'll end up seeing what happens if Tennessee's offense plays fine and moves the ball and doesn't create turnovers then Garrett Wilson drops down to a medium and Alan Lazar drops down to a high risk because they won't be touching the ball nearly as often as they would if they could get a couple of extra possessions off turnovers but even last week those two guys accounted for 20 Targets in the San Francisco game so I definitely could see them at least combining for 15 this week and again the concerns are with Will Levis DeAndre Hopkins isn't fully healthy and last week against Chicago because will Levis just wasn't being consistent Calvin Ridley just couldn't find himself getting open S Gardner is probably going to be on Hopkins this week and hopefully s is 100% after having to leave the field for some weird reason for a few snaps there and on the broadcast they didn't really seem to know what was going on so hopefully he's 100% and ready to going if he is Calvin Ridley's going to have a tough day will Lis is going to have even tougher of a day and this Tennessee team isn't going to see nearly the success on offense that they hope to begin the season after my running back video came out yesterday all of a sudden it came out from Kyle Shanahan that Christian mcaffrey is also dealing with achilles tendonitis on on top of the calf injury he's dealing with so we'll see how long he ends up missing and when he will be able to get back but until then Debo Samuel is going to have a super safe floor based on the amount of volume he's not only getting in the passing game but on the ground as well now he didn't have a great night on Monday Night Football but he was still heavily utilized he saw nine Targets in the passing game and also had eight rushing attempts with no Christian mcaffrey he's going to have an opportunity to keep doing some of those things and he may have a better opportunity for a bigger game this week against Minnesota now we also don't know if Brandon auk is going to be off the snap count that kept him Limited in week one that's also going to be a major factor that we need to keep an eye on Brandon iuk being the Deep threat for this San Francisco team really is needed on the field more often to help open things up over the middle for George KD and Debo Samuel if he's on the field more of even if he doesn't see more targets that definitely helps everyone around him but we also know that Brandon auk doesn't need a ton of volume to make his fantasy day count for owners as well last week Minnesota shut down Daniel Jones and the Giants offense but let's see what they look like with a better quarterback and better offense as a whole standing in front of them then we'll get a better read on how good this Minnesota defense actually is Justin Jefferson's week one matchup not massive scored a touchdown had six targets caught four of them definitely a solid overall day will we see a little bit more upside going against San Francisco this week the top layer stats for San Francisco against the Jets don't look great as a whole but I think we really need to keep in mind that several of those yards and one of those touchdowns that they gave up last week all came in garbage time Tyrod Taylor had come in Aaron Rogers was off the field and really at that point San Francisco was just playing prevent defense and just letting the clock basically wind down I'm not going to take all of that into consideration and I'm going to take some of the numbers with a grain of salt San Francisco can definitely be better on defense Justin Jefferson is a whole different monster to try and Corral though and he definitely should still end up having a really solid week as the number one wide receiver and maybe at least a floor of what we saw last week against the new New York Giants now hopefully this game is more competitive so Justin Jefferson sees consistent targets throughout the game but the key is also going to be Jordan Addison on the other side who is banged up right now and has sprained his other ankle opposite of the one that he did during training camp we don't know yet at this point is he going to be limited will he be able to play and how that is going to work for Jordan Anderson so he carries a high risk no matter what but Justin Jefferson will end up being just fine he'll see a decent amount of volume we're going to hope for a touchdown and there's always a shot at the big play Great Floor high ceiling every week the do-it-yourself at home recipe that's supposed to taste exactly like it does in the restaurant we've all seen those videos before right I just saw one the other day where you're supposed to do like your own Baja Blast at home and it's Mountain Dew and blue Power Aid and Sprite I haven't tried it I don't know if it's good but 99% of the time when you try making those recipes at home they taste nothing like they're supposed to in the restaurant and it's typically like one ingredient that's throwing things off that's what the Seattle Seahawks are they're the atome do-it-yourself recipe of the Houston Texans both teams have a strong Run game both teams have three wide receivers that really could dominate a posing defenses but the one ingredient that's off is the quarterback because Gino Smith isn't anywhere near of the caliber that CJ Stout is and because of that the dominating wide receivers just aren't able to dominate the way that they should this New England defense is absolutely no joke they are very very strong and very very good and last week DK metf he had Patrick Cain on him giving him fits all day long and we talked about that in the week one video this week I would expect DK metf and Tyler locket to kind of switch what we saw from last week Lockett was the leading wide receiver saw some big plays in The Targets this week I think DK metf is going to switch and he's going to have that type of day my issue though is I don't believe any of these three guys have that high of a ceiling right now one of them's going to have a good fantasy day one of them's going to have a mediocre fantasy day and the other one is basically going to be irrelevant that week Seattle's really really hard to predict and un fortunately Gino Smith just is not the quarterback to make all three of these guys fantasy viable I don't know if we're going to see a lead wide receivers step up anytime soon for the New England Patriots they're going to spread the ball around and they're going to try to distribute the targets out evenly they're going to get the ball in Playmakers hands and let them do some things after the catch this offense is built around the run and then this offense is going to be built around the short passing game and last week KJ Osborne seemed to be the wide receiver one he saw the most targets he didn't necessarily have the best day but he was looked at the most that could change from week to week and as of right now this is a very fluid situation with how things are going to play out on the New England offense personally I'm not super excited for anybody right now New England beat Cincinnati last week on the ground with their run game and we really didn't see that large of an impact in the passing game well unfortunately the defense that they faced last week with the Cincinnati Bengals isn't nearly as close to the defense that they're going to end up facing this week with the Seattle Seahawks it's going to be a tough day for these wide receivers and whoever the number one wide receiver is is going to have to deal with Devon weather spoon I think there's a high risk and a very very low floor for all of these wide receivers in week two New York in Washington brings a group of wide receivers that we really can't trust but for completely different different reasons now it's really hard to trust anyone from New York because of Daniel Jones who was awful in week one but the good news is is he gets a pretty strong matchup this week going up against a Washington secondary that absolutely can get beat it's going to be up to Malik neighbors and W Del Robinson to get open but it's going to be up to Daniel Jones to actually get them the ball and that's where things become super tough while Malik neighbors had the overall best day last week and still holds the biggest upside of any wide receiver on this team it's wand Del Robinson and His 12 targets last week that actually make him one of the safer floors on the team as long as he continues to get those targets but working out of the slot we know that Daniel Jones loves to look that way and I wouldn't be shocked if he continues to average at least eight targets a game as much as Malik neighbors and W Del Robinson deserve to be high-risk designation this week because of their quarterback I can't do it this matchup is way too juicy going up against a Washington secondary that allowed the most fantasy points last week and four touchdowns to the Tampa Bay Bucks wide receivers now for the Washington commanders their wide receivers are a little bit more risky this week because of the game plan that we saw deployed by the commanders last week first off it was run the football Brian Robinson and Jaden Daniels on the ground are definitely a pair that we're going to have to keep an eye on and a pair that are going to have a really solid floor but high ceiling every single week but in the passing game they focused on the quick passes getting the ball out fast good high percentage throws and letting jayen Daniels just get comfortable as an NFL quarterback and we may end up seeing that once again this week keep in mind the leading receivers last week were Brian Robinson Austin Eckler and Zack her running back running back tight end if that were to happen again even in this matchup Terry McClaren is going to have a really tough time finding any type of ceiling and he's going to have a really low floor as well right now he is the only wide receiver that I would consider because he is the wide receiver one on this team let's keep an eye on it over the next couple of weeks we may want to find a different wide receiver to run out there right now instead of Terry McClaren until Jaden Daniels really starts to get his feet under him for Los Angeles and Carolina I think the Chargers Run game is really what's going to shine for them this week but hopefully somebody like lad makoni can still find a solid fantasy day like this past week lead the team in targets have a solid amount of yards and possibly find The End Zone you're looking at a guy that gives you some low-end wide receiver too or at least Flex type numbers this week but I don't think they're going to be passing the ball enough to make every everybody fantasy viable I'm not buying into Quinton Johnston unless I see him continuously give us some sort of fantasy performance I'm not going to really go his Direction anytime soon lad makoni seems to be the safest Target on this team for wide receivers while Josh Palmer does have some good upside I could see him having a couple of big plays this week maybe one big touchdown not a huge day overall but barely enough to get him inside that f platform that we need so lad mlan is going to be the safest guy Josh Palmer is going to have a little bit of upside and really it's going to be the running backs I have major concerns about Carolina's offense after week one now they played an extremely tough defensive opponent and an extremely tough environment week one things will end up getting easier for them and hopefully by the time that they do they're ready to take advantage of that but here's the reason why I'm concerned about the wide receiver because last week there were four wide receivers that saw five or more targets so clearly they're rotating their guys in and out a little bit more than what we had anticipated on top of that even with them being blown out and plenty of garbage time available they didn't have one wide receiver break 50 yards last week and that's a lot of my concern all offseason long with Deontay Johnson people talked about targets and that's great at the beginning of the day we love to see targets but at the end of the day what does a wide receiver do with those targets and what's the quality of those targets Deontay Johnson may see eight targets a game but what if only four of them are actually catchable or what if only four of them give him an opportunity to make a play after the catch that's where things become complicated because he's going to be high risk right now even with the targets because we don't really know how he's going to be able to utilize those targets and if those targets are even going to be good enough for him to do something with Cleveland has a major problem on offense and it goes by Deshawn Watson without Nick chub and a strong running game and now with David njoku laid up for the next couple of weeks at least the hope would be that Jerry Judy and Amari Cooper will shine but Deshawn Watson hasn't done anything how many fantasy viable performances can you remember off the top of your head from Deshawn Watson how many games were you watch the Cleveland Browns and thought Deshawn Watson looks like one of the top quarterbacks in the league he hasn't for a couple of years now he hasn't since before his suspension DeShaun Watson is the biggest issue with Cleveland's offense right now I don't know what it is I don't know what's changed with him and I really don't know if he's going to be able to get it back now Jacksonville in the first half of their game this past week did a good job of handling Miami it was a close game Tyreek Hill and jayen waddle neither of them were really going off in the first half the damage was done in the second half by Miami hopefully Jacksonville can hang around with Cleveland a little bit longer and if they make deshun Watson uncomfortable even with the potential for targets for both of these guys there's still going to be a high risk because DeShaun Watson hasn't shown us anything consistent and this defense definitely was good enough to contain two of the top wide receivers in the league last week and they had a much better quarterback than DeShaun Watson I have been trying to warn you about Christian Kirk for the last several weeks and a lot of you didn't listen and I get it and I understand why but please know that the concerns that are coming from me are coming from a Christian Kirk fan that had him listed as a breakout candidate in 2022 and a sleeper candidate in 2023 loved Christian Kirk the last 2 years but in week one of the preseason Jacksonville went back to a strategy that I don't agree with that doesn't make a whole lot of sense but it is what it is and that's the fact that Christian Kirk does not play very often unless it is a three wide receiver set and we saw it once again in week one the same exact strategy if Jacksonville is running one wide receiver out there it's Gabe Davis he is the wide receiver one on this team right now if Jacksonville is running two wide receivers out it's Gabe Davis and a majority of the time it's Brian Thomas Jr it's not Christian Kirk in fact this past week Christian Kirk only played Four snaps in two wide receiver sets so we have to hope that Jacksonville either a starts to put Christian Kirk out there more often which is not happening because this has been a trend since last season before Z Jones got hurt or we have to hope that Jacksonville starts running three wide receiver sets more than any other team in the league and that's just not happening Christian Kirk is a highly volatile play right now he is the number three wide receiver on this team and depending how things shake out with Evan Ingram over the next couple of weeks he could end up becoming the number four Target on this team losing all of his fantasy value but as of right now Christian Kirk is the riskiest wide receiver on this team based on playing time alone last week Kansas City took advantage of the Baltimore secondary rasheid rice carved up the middle of the field with a huge Target day and then Xavier worthy was able to take advantage of a busted play and a touchdown run to have a huge game as well but now we have to wonder if Las Vegas is going to use some of that same game plan to attack Baltimore this week Brock Bowers will probably be the safest Target once again he led the team in targets last week but as far as wide receivers go I believe jacobe Meyers is actually a little safer than Devonte Adams for me Devonte Adams has a much wider range of outcome because of how they are going to end up playing jacobe Myers is going to be in the slot and he's going to play the same role that rasheid Rice played last week when he carved up the middle of the defense so I could see jacobe Meers doing the same thing and having a super solid floor because of the amount of targets he'll receive where Devonte Adams on the outside has a much higher ceiling because of his big playmaking ability but also may not see the same amount of targets that jacobe Meyers does Adams may have to do a little bit more with a little bit less and that's not necessarily a bad thing I just think it makes his floor a little bit more unstable even with the higher ceiling and for Baltimore I absolutely love Z flowers this week 10 targets last week against Kansas City and several of those targets got called back because of penalties he didn't end up having a huge day but if it weren't for those penalties he absolutely could have been one of the best wide receivers last week and the volume was there there and I like Z flower so much going up against Las Vegas this weekend that I'm heading on over to Underdog and putting in his line of 55 a half receiving yards and going higher on that for a pick them and I don't think Z flower's targets will be affected by Mark Andrews potentially bouncing back this week I think it's far more likely that Isaiah likely and Mark Andrews feed off each other where one could have a big week and the other one has a big week one has a big week the next week and the other one does not I think we could go back and forth in that type of fashion with the tight ends and Z flowers will end up being just fine and that's why I believe 552 yards going higher than that seems like a smash right now I know a lot of people are here to listen about the Rams offense and try to figure out who they could potentially use to replace puka nakua and really for me neither of these guys are going to be super solid they're going to have some big plays here or there they're going to get a few targets but Cooper cup could end up averaging 15 to 20 targets until nkua comes back that's no joke I think kobby Parkinson is also going to be utilized Kiren Williams could see a few more targets realistically you have two different options if you're looking for a big playmaker Tyler Johnson has more big playmaking ability if you're looking for a safer bet that likely has more targets than that would be Demarcus Robinson for me probably I would shade towards DeMar Marcus Robinson a little bit more to begin with because of being around the offense for a lot longer and being a guy that has contributed in the past he would get the first nod for me and then we'll see for Tyler Johnson how big those plays are this weekend and if he's got enough targets to make him a potential consistent last week Greg dorch led the Arizona wide receivers with eight targets the next closest person was Marvin Harrison Jr with three now Marvin Harrison Jr was literally a big play away from salvaging his day it was super close too Kyler Murray barely overthrew him at one point and those things will start to get a little bit better as the season goes on and these guys connect a whole lot better as well and we'll keep an eye on those things and I'm sure that Marvin Harrison this week will get more than three targets you can't draft a guy that high in the first round and then not even Target him in the first week of the Season they're going to get him more targets here in week two and because of that he's still going to be a medium risk for me because of the playmaking ability but some of the inconsistencies and the fact that that defensive line may be able to get home against Arizona a little bit more than what they would like I would love to be a little bit more confident in George pickings this week but unfortunately I'm not able to do it as of right now it does appear Justin Fields will end up being the quarterback once again for Pittsburgh this week that could end up changing but it does appear that's what they are going to try and set up to do but George Pickins even though he's going up against a terrible Denver defense he's going to be facing Patrick Cain and that's where things get super difficult and why George pickings could end up having a really tough day last week Seattle just had to run the football against them but Patrick cerain shut down DK mataf and he absolutely could shut down George Pickins as well I was expecting some troubles for this Denver defense in week one going up against Seattle and that's absolutely what ended up happening but bonck did not look good there's still plenty of time left and I'm not going to Victory lap on what my thoughts were on Bo Knicks prior to the draft and after the draft but right now he looks like what we saw on tape and it could still end up changing but I don't know if it's going to change this week with TJ watt in the backfield and that tough Pittsburgh defense Bon knck is going to have to do a lot of things right in order to stay out of that pressure keep from being sacked and be a lot better passing the ball on the Run than what he was last week Denver's got to do something with their offensive game plan because if they come out and try to play Pittsburgh the way they played Seattle last week it's going to be a disaster once again and all these wide receivers are a high risk because of it I don't know if anybody else saw it during the broadcast this past week but Joe burrow just doesn't look right and I'm not talking about just the game play I'm talk talking about his wrist and the way when he would sit on the bench he would try and flex it and he'd move it around it looked like even after each play he was trying to get a feeling for it or maybe stretch it out a little bit I'm not exactly sure what it is but the concerns that we discussed all offseason long unfortunately may end up being true that risk could end up being a way bigger Factor than what a lot of people thought it would be this week T Higgins no word yet on if he's going to be able to play or not so we're going to leave him as a high risk until we know for certain that he will end up being in but Jamar Chase is going to have to stay a medium risk for right now until we know that Joe burrow is not only fully healthy but capable of staying consistent passing the ball throughout an entire game to get Jamar Chase not only the targets that he needs but the quality targets that he needs to be a much better outcome every single week one of the only reasons that Cincinnati defense looks so strong against the pass in terms of the numbers currently is the fact that they just were ran all over last week and it was jacobe brusett and it's a different offensive game plan than probably what they're going to see this week from the Kansas City Chiefs Xavier Worthy is not a lowrisk candidate for me as of yet his first touchdown was a rushing touchdown it could end up being something that we consistently see but how often do you see wide receivers consistently scoring rushing touchdowns not very often his second touchdown on the day was a broken play where Marlon Humphrey thought he had a safety over the top and he didn't and because of that Xavier worthy was wide open now I'm not trying to Discount what Xavier worthy did but I'm trying to let everybody know that his performance last week wasn't exactly safe there was a broken play and a rushing touchdown two things that you cannot count on on a weekly basis from wide receivers he's going to end up being fine and he's going to be a big contributor in this offense but more times than not I think you're going to see a wide receiver that helps more from just a pure football standpoint opening things up than from a fantasy football standpoint but that's one of the reasons why rasheid rice is a safe floor for me this week and one of the safest wide receivers that you can take a look at in fantasy football this week he's GNA get the targets he's open over the middle of the field pastri Mahomes looked his way quite often last week and going up against Cincinnati this week I think he's going to have a really safe floor and a nice opportunity for some upside especially if he finds the end zone but the volume alone is more than enough to start him consistently as a wide receiver too the Chicago defense helped propel them to a big week one win at home but this week would have been the real test for Chicago trying to find out how they stack up against one of the best teams in football and a team that people feel like have a shot at winning a Super Bowl this year unfortunately Chicago is not fully healthy heading into this game Romo dun sounds like he is set to miss time Keenan Allen while he's banged up it sounds like he's going to try and play this week even if he's not 100% so unfortunately against a really tough Houston defense in secondary even though they got burned by the big play last week from Indianapolis DJ Moore is to be the main guy what does DJ Moore do best it's the big play so that opportunity is absolutely going to be there and it would not Shock me if we don't see DJ Moore get away for a big play that's why he still has a pretty decent ceiling but he's a low risk this week because of the added targets that he may get from the other two wide receivers not being 100% don't be shocked if we see jayen Johnson covering Nico Collins this week and if that happens then this is the vulnerability that we saw in this three-headed monster for the Houston offense Nico Collins may have a tough matchup this week and because of that we could see a Focus Shift to more of tank Dell because last week it was Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs Collins just a big day overall Stefon Diggs a couple of touchdowns to me Diggs is the safest of the three plays this week and the guy with the touchdown potential and the one guy I do see being moved around the formation enough to take advantage of mismatches inside the defense while Nico Collins and tank Dell both have medium risk for me Collins has that big play Upside so his day could really be made in a couple of plays but if Jaylen Johnson locks him down that ceiling and that floor come down it's tank Dell that we have to hope steps up in his place but he's still also going to be a medium risk because it could go either Direction with those two players we're starting Stefon Diggs with confidence you can start the other two guys as well just know the range of outcomes is a lot more wide Atlanta and Philadelphia are going to meet up on Monday Night Football and that Philadelphia secondary sure didn't look any better but maybe it had to do with being in Brazil or maybe it had to do with the fact that Jordan love is just that dude and that good and his haters should just let it go but Kurt Cousins how healthy he is he because he didn't look fully healthy last week and that was one of my concerns with him last week is he going to be able to move around the pocket extend plays throw on the run and for all of those things it really didn't felt like he was comfortable with that yet so is he going to be comfortable this week if not it is going to lead to some problems in this passing game once again I do think from a tight end perspective that Kyle Pitts will be much safer and I talked about that in the tight end video but for Drake London and Darnell money both of these guys bring some risk this week Darnell Mooney obviously 100% a high-risk candidate but for Drake London and he is a little bit closer to being a safe risk for me than he is for being a medium risk so hopefully Kurt Cousins is just able to execute the game plan the game plan is getting the ball out quickly don't let the pass rush get in on Kurt Cousins don't make him roam around the pocket make some good strong throws high percentage throws move the ball down the field and wear the defense down if you can do that Drake London should end up being fine this week Atlanta's defense last week was B but don't break they gave up a whole lot of field goals but for the most part they held their own against Arthur Smith and the Pittsburgh Steelers that's completely different then AJ Brown Devonte Smith jayen Herz and this Philadelphia offense which I have no concerns about this week AJ Brown should still see his big plays Devonte Smith should have a decent amount of targets the only thing that I would be worried about this week is that Philadelphia gets such a big lead that they just run the football but if Atlanta can at least keep it close and play strong against Philadelphia then these guys should see plenty of volume this week and their big play ability keeps them with a really high ceiling as well but there you have it headliner nation start and sit analysis for the wide receiver position here in week two
