🔥 WEEK 2 RB MUST Start/Sit Picks! 🚀 | 2024 Fantasy Football Advice

I think it's a Telltale sign that week one was a little crazy when there was two kickers inside the top 12 of highest scoring fantasy players last week but even though we didn't see a whole lot of players reach their potential we saw a whole lot of running backs with a really solid floor so what will week two bring us more craziness or will things start to balance out yo what is going on headliner Nation welcome back in to start and sit content and we're going to kick off week two talking about running backs but before I jump into all the information last week we wanted to give away an autographed Christian mcaffrey helmet now him and the 49ers left us in the dark and surprisingly to a lot of people he was inactive for Monday Night Football but someone out there is still going to want this helmet and congratulations to Woody Q to you winning the autographed Christian mcaffrey mini helmet Woody make sure you send us an email infothe fantasy Headliners decom with all of your shipping information so we can get your prize out right away congratulations and make sure in the comment section you let us know if you're interested in hearing about our next giveaway and just a quick reminder if this is the first time you're catching our content our start and sit videos are built out this year to give you a whole lot of information on all of the players in every single matchup and how much risk they may bring to your starting lineup so just because I might have somebody tagged in the video as a high-risk player this week it doesn't mean that you should just automatically be sitting them make sure you listen into all the information listen to me talk about the key matchups that are going to be happening this week and on the screen we'll make sure that you get a look at our matchup indicator so you can see the opposing defense that those players will be going against and whether or not we can take advantage of that matchup and Thursday night football this week is going to be a key divisional rivalry with the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins I got to tell you headliner Nation I'm not feeling James Cook this week in this matchup going up against the Miami Dolphins Miami's defense did a really good job of holding Travis etn and the Run game of the Jacksonville Jags in check last week in fact if it hadn't been for a 26 yd run by tank bsby him and Travis etn would have only averaged 3.95 yards per carry last week against this defense and on top of it James Cook he continues to lose touchdown opportunities to Josh Allen and right now over on Underdog his current line is one that I'm not touching the over on I'm going lower than 64 and a half rushing yards for James Cook this week and when you take a look at James Cook's ceiling this week you really have to try and figure out how he's going to get there he keeps losing touchdowns to Josh Allen this is a matchup where he is going to struggle to find those big plays realistically his path to a decent ceiling is 20 plus touches to get him close to a 100 total yards if he can do that then he would not be bad but even at that point right there that's not a very high ceiling and that's why James Cook is going to be my Mando must avoid this week and just like I'm avoiding James Cook this week I'm looking to avoid those unwanted odors during a very hectic football season and that's why I'm always looking to Mando to help me out their clinically proven formula eliminates odors for up to 72 hours and because they're back as part of the headliner Nation family this year you have an opportunity to use code word Headliners over on shop.com and you can get their starter pack for $5 off which is4 30% off the price so before you head on over to your lineup and take James Cook Out and put him on the bench head to shop Mando and get your starter pack today Jaylen Wright a surprise in active Raheem moster limited Devon aan well he did all right in the passing game he scored a touchdown on the ground but he was highly inefficient as a runner and now aan and moster are both banged up this week Buffalo was super effective against the run in week one going up against James Conor only averaging 3.1 yards per carry and that was because of a big run that he had in the second half for 20 yards had it not been for that that average would have been even lower for a majority of the game James Conor didn't really get anything going and again the Miami backfield super inefficient this past week aan only averaged 2.4 yards per carry but Raheem moer averaged 1 5 now because it's a tough matchup and Raheem mostart was largely ineffective last week and he's dealing with an injury he's going to be a highrisk start for anyone that tries to put him out there but the difference between him and aan is the fact that aan is going to make an impact in the passing game last week buffalo gave up a 22 yard reception to James Connor aan saw a really good amount of targets last week as well he's going to be utilized in the passing especially if they cannot get the Run going once again they're going to have to do something different just like last week and that's going to be making aan a big part of the passing game he's going to be a low risk just because of that alone Kamar is coming off a great fantasy day last week running for 83 yards on 15 carries and scoring a touchdown but Jerome Ford against this defense last week barely was able to get to 12 yards on 11 carries Alvin Kamar is is not going to see nearly the same amount of success this week and if he does it's going to have to be through the air and last week he tied for the team league in targets mainly because they didn't really need to throw the ball all that often towards the end of the game it was positive game script for New Orleans and they were just running the football so this week going up against Dallas where the game script may not be as conducive to just running the football Alvin Kamar could end up seeing more targets than he did last week Derek Carr is going to be looking to get rid of the ball and get rid of it quickly and that's where Kamar could step in and really help out the offensive game plan last week against Cleveland Zeke only ran for 40 yards on 10 carries and scored a touchdown serviceable fantasy day but not one that you're going to rely on every single week and we can admit that Carolina was not in a positive game script and there was no way that they could afford to run the football being down as much as they were to New Orleans last week but even with that New Orleans still allowed the fewest fantasy points and rushing yards of any defense last week and it could spell some trouble for Zeke this week Zeke only played four more stamps than Rico dle last week and Dalvin cook is on the practice squad right now and at any point could be brought up and become a part of a mixture in this backfield with a tough matchup against New Orleans I'm going to be out on Zeke this week not knowing exactly how the touches will look last week the Rams got their shot at avenging their playoff loss to the Lions last year now it's Tampa Bay's turn but last week for Tampa Bay Rashad white man it continues to be the same story decent amount of work in the passing game but the dude just cannot be efficient on the ground as a runner he's not all that talented and as a running back he's not all that efficient and Bucky Irving was way better on the ground last week and this matchup is awful Detroit still boast one of the best run defenses in all of football and if it wasn't for the Kiren Williams touchdown last week his fantasy day would have been awful for owners and now Rashad white is also being outplayed by Bucky Irving Irving played half the snaps that Rashad white did last week however he ran for 62 yards on nine carries and added three targets Rashad white was only able to run for 31 yards on 15 carries but he had six targets Rashad white is going to continue to be risky until he can get it figured out on the ground and become a better Runner awful matchup this week Bucky Irving coming for his job he's got to make it work in the passing game this week and if he doesn't we could be in for a week where we're barely cracking the top 24 the Washington offense did a majority of their damage on the ground last week to Tampa Bay with quarterback Jaden Daniels that's not going to be happening with Jared gof they did a pretty decent job of limiting Brian Robinson and Austin Eckler now Robinson did end up scoring on the ground and Robinson and Eckler were the leading receivers for Washington last week going up against Tampa Bay so keep an eye out for jir Gibbs he's way more explosive in the passing game than what Robinson and Eckler are if he can get loose in the passing game this week it will be a much bigger day and a majority of the damage that David Montgomery did ended up coming in overtime but Detroit showed once again they're going to utilize both of these running backs to the best of their abilities and even when they're getting stopped to begin the game they are not going to stop running the football and they're going to keep pounding it that's what makes jir Gibbs and David Montgomery two of the safer running backs that we can play every single week we know their floors their ceilings they may come and go at times but their floors are always going to be super solid now for any jir Gibbs owners that are frustrated that David Montgomery is still getting as many touches as he is that's on you for not realizing that when you drafted Gibbs Gibbs however did see 51% of the snaps this week and if it hadn't been for overtime that percentage would have even been a little bit higher Gibbs will still be the guy that sees the field more often but David Montgomery has an opportunity to do just as much Dam damage on the ground Indianapolis and Green Bay could be the biggest running back matchup of the week with Jonathan Taylor and Josh Jacobs both set to have huge days last week saquin Barkley killed the Green Bay Packers ran for over a 100 yards had two rushing touchdowns and added a receiving touchdown as well with it and Jonathan Taylor got off to a little bit of a slow start in week one but if Green Bay's defense is that slow to stop the run again this week JT is going to have a massive day I think we were already expecting a little bit of a tougher matchup last week going up against Houston anyway so Jonathan Taylor is set up very well for Success this week both on the ground and potentially through the air now as of this recording there's still no word on whether or not Jordan love is actually still going to try and play this week my guess is no Jordan love and because of that Josh Jacobs is a threat for 30 rushing attempts this week and given the fact that Joe Mixon ran all over indianapolis's defense last week there there's not even a pick them up for Underdog yet whatever it is Hammer the over take the over on attempts on rushing yards on longest run whatever it is Josh Jacobs could end up having one of the biggest weeks of any running back this week and is a legitimate candidate for rb1 status it feels like the Run defenses may have been swapped for Tennessee and New York last week because Tennessee didn't let DeAndre Swift do anything the New York Jets let Jordan Mason do whatever he wanted Hall had a lot of trouble finding those big plays against the 49ers last week and he may have some of those same troubles against the Titans this week however I still am going to list him as a low risk and it's not any disrespect to the Titans defense this week it just has to do with the fact that he's probably the closest running back in the league to CMC in terms of his usage he plays a ton of snaps he's utilized on the ground and he's utilized through the air he's one of the very few running backs that continues to be a number one dual thread option that absolutely will offer you fantasy points on the ground and through the air in every single game now after the Tennessee Titans spent the week trying to tell us that Tony Pard and Taj spear would end up seeing a 50/50 split we realized that they lied to us and that is not a shock that a coaching staff wouldn't tell the truth about what was going to happen with their game plan but we kind of figured for the majority of the off season Tony Pard got paid he's probably going to be the main back and that's ended up what happening and he had a really good day against the Chicago Bears while the performance is great it's the usage that really matters to me 39 snaps for Pard only 29 snaps for Taj Spears 16 rushing attempts for Tony Pard only four for Taj Spears but is the New York Jets defense really going to get lit up on the ground once again 128 yards to Jordan Mason this past week but is it because it's the San Francisco offense and Kyle Shanahan is just a mastermind or is the defense of the Jets on the ground really going to be capable of giving up big games like this every single week Tony par definitely is mid risk just because I don't really know what we're going to get from New York's defense he is going to get the touches and he will be the main guy this week so if you're looking for safety in terms of volume and floor Tony Pard not all that bad if you're looking for a high upside though that may not end up being here plus will Levis made a ton of mistakes last week he's got to clean those up and if he doesn't against this Jets defense that could end up leading to negative game script and not nearly enough Touches for Tony Pard man San Francisco pulled a fast one on us this week not only did they say that CMC should be good to go for the game but he was at practice as well then all of a sudden just an hour or two before kickoff CMC goes inactive Jordan Mason after the game after a huge performance then says in an interview that he had known since Friday that he was going to be the starter this week what in the world happened over the weekend and what is San Francisco keeping from us right now we don't even know if Christian mcaffrey is going to play this week and I don't know that I would even trust San Francisco to tell us even close to the truth right now CMC is going to carry a medium risk if he plays it goes to a low risk but it's medium right now cuz I don't even know if the guy's GNA play now Jordan Mason with no CMC is a lowrisk play he absolutely earned it after his performance against the Jets if CMC were to play for some reason we'll keep an eye on what type of a workload San Francisco may be talking about but CMC would move to low risk Jordan Mason would move to at least medium risk because he'll probably see a few touches Minnesota's defense last week did a good job at limiting the New York Giants Run game but let's be honest I don't think we really know what the Minnesota Vikings have for a defense yet because I don't think they were that good I think the New York Giants and Daniel Jones are just that bad and Minnesota could absolutely prove that wrong by dominating the San Francisco 49ers this week but Minnesota has to prove it and if they do then we know who they are moving forward and if they don't then we know that maybe New York is just super awful a massive week for Aaron Jones suiting up for a new team for the first time wanting to prove to the green Green Bay Packers hey you should have picked me over Josh Jacobs he runs for 95 yards and a touchdown but we have a much tougher matchup this week than what the New York Giants were last week and the game script may not be as positive for Aaron Jones to run the football we're going to be a little bit more reliant on the big plays this week but that's something that San Francisco did not allow to Bree Hall so keep an eye on Aaron Jones if you're super excited about what he did in week one that's awesome and hopefully you let it to a win but I wouldn't be waiting for that to happen again in week two two of my favorite running backs Kenneth Walker and Rand Dre Stevenson meeting up here in week two and both of them got off to Great starts last week Kenneth Walker had a huge day running for a touchdown over a 100 yards and absolutely being the primary back over Zack shanet he had over 40 snaps last week while shanet didn't even see third now shanet did have three targets and he was able to find the end zone but Walker also had three targets but we need to keep an eye on the abdominal injury he said after the game he's fine he's going to be good and we'll go ahead and move forward but he had some issues with that same thing last year and I really hope it's not already popping up here in week one keep your eyes and ears peeled and we'll update you in the rankings episode later in the week but right now he is going to hold a little bit of a risk because of that abdominal injury and this match up against the Patriots outside of a short Zach Moss touchdown last week Cincinnati running backs were not really able to get anything going against the Patriots and even though I do expect Walker to have a little bit of a better day he may be more of a top 24 option this week instead of a top 12 option now Seattle did shut down Denver's Run game in week one only allowing 64 yards on 20 carries but was that because the game plan and offensive philosophy of Denver is outdated rookie bow Knicks definitely didn't help out all that often and for sure ra Andre Stevenson is more talented than any of the running backs in Denver so those things could quickly change the New England offense is going to go through the run and we know ra Andre Stevenson is the featured back in this offense he's going to get more than enough touches to have a good floor this week it's the ceiling that would become an issue if Seattle's run defense does the same exact thing that they did to Denver last week then he absolutely is going to be limited the key for New England is to say in neutral or positive game script so you can keep pounding the football if you do that ra Andre Stevenson is going to find a big play sooner or later but if you go down to Seattle and you have to start throwing the football and you become unbalanced that's when REM Andre Stevenson loses a ton of upside I had no interest in Devin single ter over the off season and I still have no interest in Devin single ter whether it be the fact that last year his fantasy value was largely propelled by volume because of how inefficient he was or the fact that he was moving into a worse offense with a worse offensive line and obviously a quarterback that doesn't do nearly good enough job of keeping the offense balanced but the only reason that Devon single ter is listed as a medium risk this week is because one he definitely is going to get way more volume than Eric gray or Tyrone Tracy who split some backup touches last week it doesn't seem like the Giants really know who the backup running back is right now so there isn't really a threat to Devin single ter as of yet but Washington's defense is inept and if there's going to be a week for him to have a decent week it would be now but I wouldn't be looking at him for anything more than a potential flex play the Giants gave up 94 rushing yards last week to Aaron Jones and Again part of that reason is the positive game script that Minnesota was in for the entire game I don't anticipate Brian Robinson having that type of upside this week but I do anticipate him having a really nice floor Robinson and Eckler were basically 5050 in terms of snaps this week but like we said all offseason long Brian Robinson would be the guy running the ball on the ground Austin Eckler would be the guy getting work in the passing game but Brian Robinson also got work in the passing game Brian Robinson led the way with 13 carries compared to Austin Eckler's Two Carries while on the flip side Austin Eckler ran 17 routes compared to Brian Robinson's nine but Eckler caught all four of his targets for 52 yards Brian Robinson caught three of his four targets for 49 yards so on a per playay basis he was better in the past game Brian Robinson is going to lose touchdowns to jayen Daniels we already know this but it's the safe floor that makes Brian Robinson a lowrisk play for me if you're putting him in your lineup to be an rb1 you're going to be disappointed if you're putting him in your lineup to be a flex or maybe a low-end rb2 option then at that point you have a little bit more consistency with the production that you're going to get from Brian Robinson he's the main running back in this offense and if Washington can play ahead of the New York Giants this week then we will see Brian Robinson get a decent amount of carries in that floor gets a little bit higher and that ceiling goes with it this week we saw why JK Dobbins was a breakout candidate just a few seasons ago in Baltimore he has everything that you want in an explosive running back and hopefully he's finally healthy and hopefully you took my recommendations this offseason is using a late round Dart throw to pick up JK Dobbins and see what he could give you you it may not last long and he's not going to run for 135 yards on 10 carries every single week but let's enjoy the ride while it lasts and let's just be happy for the fact that a guy that has dealt with tons of injuries since coming into the league hopefully experiences a full healthy season and now JK Dobbins gets to face a Panthers defense that allowed 132 rushing yards and two touchdowns to Alvin Kamar and Jamal Williams last week if we can stay in positive game script and JK Dobbins can run the football well he could be in for another big day maybe not as massive as we just saw but it should still be really good if you're thinking about putting any Carolina running back in your lineup though just stop stop that thought process right there and find someone else anyone else I'll recommend Tamm hit as a tight end before I recommend either of these guys this week Sanders and hubard combined for 11k Ares in 36 rushing yards last week no shock here I told you all that New Orleans was going to beat the breaks off Carolina at home but that doesn't mean that things are going to get better for Carolina this week could they potentially get at least a little bit better absolutely but not nearly good enough for me to get excited about it also it appears that Carolina wants to see what they have in my sanders chuba hubard may still be the starter but my sanders was a little bit better better this week and if he can continue to be a little bit better until Jonathan Brooks comes back and starts to slowly work his way back Sanders could start seeing more and more touches I don't want anything to do with Carolina right now last week Jacksonville did a really good job at limiting the Miami run offense and that could end up happening this week with a lesser talented Jerome Ford now Jerome Ford is an interesting start each week because we know he's getting the volume right now and we know that he's being utilized on the ground and in the passing game but this matchup could be super risky for him Jacksonville only allowed 24 rushing yards on 10 carries to aan and they only allowed nine rushing yards on six rushing attempts to moster last week now aan did a really good job in the passing game and that's where Jerome Ford could end up helping out but he has to do more he received seven targets and caught six of them this past week but he only had 25 receiving yards on those six catches and that is not nearly enough for us to see a decent floor and what could be such a tough matchup Jerome Ford is super risky going up against Jacksonville if Jacksonville plays the way that they did against Miami last week then I could see Cleveland starting the season 0 and2 I wouldn't say that I'm worried about Travis etn just yet but there's a reason why you didn't hear me pushing his name quite a bit this off season last year Travis etn presented huge upside given the ADP that he was at this season with his ADP not being nearly the bargain that I would have hoped for it was a little bit more risky especially because Doug Peterson actually didn't lie to us this off season he told everybody that Travis etn was not going to see the snap percentage that he did last year last season especially over the beginning of the first half Travis etn was seeing 80% of the snaps for Jacksonville towards the end of the season that got all the way down to 70% this past week it was at 69% now etn is still the receiving back 17 routes ran compared to tank bigsby's 4 Travis etn is still going to be the goal line back they're going to utilize him when they get down near the goal line in a potential score but tank bsby is starting to see a few more carries here and there now tank bsby really had like one big run last week that led to his yards that he had so don't even read too much into his performance either but this matchup is not going to be easy and because we don't fully know the rotation that we're going to see from Jacksonville right now both of these running backs are going to be very very risky I had Travis etn as a medium risk last week and people were hot about that they thought that was absolutely going to be wrong unfortunately this week I've got to move them to a high risk if etn can find the end zone and have a decent amount of passing game work then we're looking at a ceiling of like a mid-end rb2 this week but his floor could go even down to the 36 range now I hate Victory lapping over week one it's a very long season and things can change and things can still change for zamir white as well he absolutely could turn things around however headliner Nation I tried to warn you about him and what I said about him is exactly what he was in week one Madison played 36 snaps compared to zamir White's 23 and that's going to come probably with negative game script as it looks like Alexander Madison is going to be the pass catching back and come on to the field in those type of situations for the Raiders white was only able to run for 44 yards on 13 carries good for 3.4 yards per carry he's got to be better than that and the efficiency is what was the issue at the end of last year he was getting a ton of volume but if he didn't get that volume this season and he didn't figure out the efficiency issues he wasn't going to give you fantasy performances better days could absolutely be ahead for zamir white but Alexander Madison is becoming a threat to seeing more and more touches he was able to find the end zone last week and letting zamir white sit on your bench regardless of where you drafted him is not the ideal situation now I saw some fantasy owners complaining about Derrick Henry's fantasy performance this past week 13 carries 46 rushing yards and a touchdown why do we have an issue with that we just saw Derrik Henry's floor going up against a tough defense in a negative game script now John Harbaugh came out and said we didn't bring Derrick Henry in to be a guy that's going to see 30 touches in a game which is fine because we told you all offseason long that wasn't going to happen that he wasn't going to be the Derk Henry of old that saw 300 plus carries in a season but it didn't matter because he was going to be more efficient than potentially what we had seen in Tennessee the last couple of years and was going to have a shot at the end zone every single week that's why we drafted Derk Henry not for the potential rb1 that he used to be but the potential solid low-end rb1 numbers that we could end up getting from him every single week now 10.6 fantasy points is not ideal but Jonathan Taylor and Travis etn only scored 10 fantasy points and Josh Jacobs only had 11 kyen Williams was right above them with 13 plus this week he gets to go against the Las Vegas defense that just gave up a 135 yards on 10 carries to his former teammate JK dobin so you know what I'm going to head on over to Underdog right now and I'm going to go higher on his current line of 77 a half rushing yards heck JK Dobbins almost had that same exact number on just one carry last week Derk Henry doesn't need 30 carries to be a high-end rb1 this week give me 20 to 25 carries for Derrik Henry he's going to go over 100 yards he's going to score a touchdown and he's going to be exactly what we all needed and want him to be for our fantasy lineups and keep in mind if you want to play along with all of our pick thems that we talk about in our videos this year and that we're talking about over in Discord as well with our members head on over to Underdog download the app create a new account and use code word Headliners making a deposit of at least $10 you're going to get a super special pick them that's almost guaranteed to hit as well as a deposit bonus of up to ,000 that's going to be way more than enough money for you to play some of these pick thems and hit big but let's talk about Justice Hill for just a second as well because there's a lot of people that view him is a really interesting Flex option moving forward but it's really going to depend on the man matchup last week against Kansas City he saw quite a bit of work in the passing game but it was also a negative game script he out snapped Derrick Henry and he was a little bit more productive in terms of total yards that's okay because it was that type of game script that led to that performance this week against Las Vegas if Baltimore is playing in a negative game script we've got way worse problems than Justice Hill getting a few more touches than what Derek kenry W this week Justice Hill is not a flex option for me but later on in the season when we start playing tougher defenses for Baltimore especially in the AFC North you could put Justice Hill in as a flex I'm just not in it this week even if 40 rushing yards came in overtime from David Montgomery the Rams still allowed 160 rushing yards to the lions running backs last week and by the end of the game the Lions just imposed their will on the Rams defense they could not stop the run Detroit's line was just stronger and they wanted it a little bit more and as good as they were earlier in the game of stopping some runs before they got too big you could tell that Aaron Donald is sorely missed in the middle of that defense James Conor last week had 50 yards on 16 carries but 20 of those yards came on one run so the 15 other carries he had he only averaged two yards per carry that is is not ideal and hopefully that's a little bit better this week but like I just mentioned the Rams defense at the beginning of the game was doing a pretty decent job not letting huge runs go they were giving up Dink and dunks they were giving up four or five yards at a time maybe holding them to one or two yards but they were pretty strong at the beginning of the game it was the Lions just wearing them down there's no guarantee that Arizona is going to be able to do the same thing and there's no guarantee that Arizona is going to dict to the run if the Rams get out in front and put him in that negative game script but as long as Connor is healthy he sees a good amount of volume and maybe he's not an rb1 but the reason he's a low risk for me this week is because the volume that he does get and potentially still pushing the run towards the Rams for the entirety of the game would allow him to give us at least rb2 type numbers this week now Kiren Williams gets off to a slow start here in 20 24 but we knew the Lions defense was going to be tough against the Run only 50 yards on 18 carries but I don't care about any of that I care about his usage Kiren Williams played 71 snaps 71 he played on 91% of the offensive plays for the Rams this past week that is absolutely insane numbers if if you were worried about him not getting nearly as much playing time I told you not to be if you were worried about Blake Korum I told you not to be Blake corm had zero snaps this past week that will change corm will see more snaps Ronnie Rivers saw the only seven offensive snaps that Kiren Williams was not on the field does he stick at 91 for the rest of the season no he does not but for him to see even an 80% snap share the rest of the year puts him in the conversation for an rb1 performance every single week and going up against Arizona this week could definitely be an opportunity to get him going once again now Arizona did a pretty good job against James Cook and the Buffalo running backs last week but I'm picking Kiren Williams and the Rams to get back on track this week and for him to have a much better performance give me Kiren Williams playing time over almost any other running back in the league at this point Pittsburgh and Denver bring a ton of potential with the running backs but the problem is is that we don't really know exactly what the running back rotations are going to look like for the rest of the season and I tried to give Denver's defense more credit last week and say hey they were not good on the ground last season but a lot of that was because of Miami early on in the year but they looked bad once again in week one against Seattle and Kenneth Walker 103 yards on 20 carries to Kenneth Walker and they also allowed a receiving touchdown to Zack shanet the Pittsburgh offense still doesn't look great and maybe it's going to take some time with Arthur Smith to get a little bit more consistency with their game plan and what they're going to be doing but for Nagi Harris I think this is a super safe bet he's the number one running back on this team and Jaylen Warren didn't see a ton of work last week that may be because of the injury and he's just not at 100% yet and cord darl Patterson only played nine snaps so he's not really threat to Jaylen Warren either right this minute continue to run naagi Harris out there with the understanding that he has a safe floor with the potential of some nice upside especially in a matchup like this and we'll continue to monitor Jaylen Warren and hopefully he's healthier as the season goes on and he starts to see more touches the running back usage for Denver this past week was not what we had expected and really not what we had heard coming out of training camp really the large majority of everybody reporting said that javante Williams would be the main back and after samaj perine was booted out of Denver julil mcgoffin would have a bigger role as a pass catcher we're going to flip those two things because it was reversed this week when Jal mlin was the early downback and javante Williams was getting the work in the passing game and on third Downs instead now mlin had nine more carries javante Williams seeing as how Denver was playing from behind saw 12 more snaps this is something that we're really going to have to keep a close eye on and Denver running backs right now really are not startable but I would definitely be grabbing Jalil mlin everywhere that I had an opportunity to the only reason Zach Moss is getting a medium risk score is because how he was utilized for Cincinnati last week they were trailing they were having trouble scoring points and for some reason Chase Brown was not utilized in the passing game the way it had appeared that they may have been able to do so but Zach Moss going up against a Kansas City defense that shut down Derrick Henry last week uh-uh if I don't have to play him I'm not going to do it maybe he has a decent floor but I think the ceiling is awful especially if this Cincinnati offense is eh iffy once again but I absolutely love Isaiah Pacho this week ra Andre Stevenson ran for 120 yards and a touchdown on Cincinnati last week so I'm just going to head on over to Underdog right now and lock Isaiah PCO in over the 61 half line that he currently has for rushing yards and like I just mentioned if Cincinnati's offense struggles once again and Kansas City plays with a nice lead Isaiah Pacho is going to see a good amount of rushing attempts this game and he absolutely could be in for a huge day tons of top 12 potential here DeAndre Swift for Chicago could be in for another rough week he got bottled up against Tennessee last week and now he gets a Houston defense that did the same thing to Jonathan Taylor in Indianapolis last week Swift only ran for 30 yards on 10 carries against Tennessee and Houston is going to be even more difficult to run on add to the fact that Houston likely will be playing with a positive game script for a majority of the game I just don't see how swift could go over 10 carries now this is he could end up helping and even though he's a high risk he has some sort of fantasy potential because Romo dun and Keenan Allen are both banged up right now and if that tends to be the case DeAndre Swift may be needed in the passing game so there is at least an opportunity to salvage maybe a flex day out of DeAndre Swift listen Chicago allowed 82 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown last week to Tony Pard Joe Mixon is coming off one of the biggest days for any fantasy running back last week you can't cover all the Texans wide receivers and put enough guys to help the defensive line fill every single Gap that Joe Mixon could run through Joe mixon's about ready to have another big day bejon didn't have a huge day in week one he still had 111 total yards though and now he's getting a Philadelphia defense that allowed 6.5 yards per carry to Josh Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson last week but but here's the thing about Bean this year and why we don't need to be nearly as worried he's the guy and we know he's the guy Tyler alir was not coming on the field and taking a ton of opportunities away from bejan Robinson Robinson had the second most amount of targets on the Atlanta Falcons last week and as Kurt Cousins continues to work his way back in get more comfortable in the pocket and shake off some of that rust bejan Robinson is going to be a big part of this game plan I don't expect the Atlanta Falcons to say hey if we go out and throw the ball 40 times this week we're going to beat the Philadelphia Eagles bejan Robinson should end up being the focal point for their offense in week two will things be as easy for sequan Barkley this week probably not Pittsburgh only averaged 3.4 yards per carry against his Atlanta front last week but you know Arthur Smith maybe that's the issue saquin Barkley should still do a lot better than that maybe he doesn't score three touchdowns I would say that he's definitely top five once again and his floor still should put him right around rb12 status but headliner Nation there you have it my start and sit analysis for the running back position here in week two this video was a little bit longer than I wanted it to be but I wanted to make sure that I definitely took the time to break down several running backs that I felt like the most questions were going to come in about if you still have questions hit hit me up down below in the comments and I'll try to get to as many as I possibly can don't forget I'm putting out four videos in 2 days to begin the week I'm a little bogged down right now so if you see a response it could be from Jake or one of the other members of the headliner Nation team but I'll try to get to as many as I can and help you out with those questions but for now I got to go look at tight ends wide receivers and quarterbacks peace out headliner Nation stay safe and healthy and I'll catch you all on the next episode of the fantasy headline min [Music]"}]
