🔥 WEEK 2 QB MUST Start/Sit Picks! 🚀 | 2024 Fantasy Football Advice

in week 2 of 2024 we have several rookie quarterbacks starting we've got two quarterbacks still coming back from season ending injuries that didn't see any preseason snaps and we've already lost a top 10 quarterback this season right now the position feels like it's all over the place but guess what I'm here to try and help you figure it [Music] out yo what is going on headliner Nation we're going to be jumping into my quarterback start and sit analysis here in week two and just like I said in the intro it really feels like there is a large range of outcomes for our quarterbacks right now we have some high-end options we have some guys that just don't look like they're ready to take that next step and there's a bunch of players in the middle that could go either direction this video is going to be super important for you to figure out what guys we need to Target this week and if you're new here or maybe forgot how our start and sit videos worked here in 2024 we are doing a risk analysis each and every week to try and decide what players are the best for our lineup so for every single matchup we're going to go through the players involved first we're going to break down the defense that they are facing and give them a matchup rating which will be located right below the players names step two will be designating them with a risk status are they lowrisk risk mid- risk or highrisk if you see somebody that's high-risk it doesn't necessarily mean that you should just bench them but maybe you need to look at your roster one more time to try and decide are you willing to take on that risk this week or do you need to play it safer with somebody else and there may not be a ton of risk involved on Thursday night football with Buffalo and Miami getting together and what could be a shootout four total touchdowns for Josh Allen in week one going up against a subpar defense so things with Miami could end up being a little tougher this week he's also dealing with a contusion on his left hand which won't hurt him throwing the football but maybe it's something to keep an eye on with running the football regardless I'm heading on over to Underdog and I'm going to take Josh Allen higher than 0.5 rushing or receiving touchdowns this week it feels like putting in a slip with Josh Allen going higher than 0 five rushing touchdowns is going to be a cheat code every single week given the state of the Buffalo offense right now and there's still a lot of time for them to work out some Kinks and still a lot of time for some guys to step up and become Premier wide receivers for Josh Allen but until that happens he's going to try and make a lot of magic happen on his own I don't expect Miami's offense to struggle the way that Arizona's offense did against Buffalo last week and quite honestly I don't really think it was Buffalo's offense causing Arizona to struggle I think it was Arizona causing themselves to struggle so Buffalo may have a little bit more difficult time corralling the speed of the Miami Dolphins now Tua is going to be a lowrisk candidate for me Raheem moer has already been ruled out and it looks like Devon Anan is going to be a game time decision if both of those players are missing then we know there's going to be a ton of passing attempts for Tua going over to Tyreek Hill and jayen Wadd maybe we'll get the tight ends involved a little bit more this week as well but I'm absolutely going to see a ton of volume from Tua this week more than enough to give him one of the safer floors of any quarterback we know what risk we're assuming whenever we get into bed with Derek Carr right like this is a dude that can go out throw four touchdowns 250 yards great fantasy day or he may go out and overthrow three of his wide receivers and throw a couple of picks and then it's just not worth it this week Dallas's defense definitely could give Derek Carr some f Dallas's defense looks great and even though they lost Dan Quinn it doesn't appear that they are going to be losing a step Derek Carr for sure is risky this week but we know his upside is still there I think New Orleans has a good defense but I don't think it's as good as what we saw against Carolina last week I think we're going to find some middle ground with Dallas and this matchup isn't nearly as tough is what the numbers may lead you to believe Dallas should end up being just fine and they're going to pass the ball more than enough for Dak Prescott to have a really nice floor his ceiling will just depend on whether or not he turns the ball over Tampa Bay and Baker Mayfield are playing with a lot of confidence after their win last week and heading into Ford Field they're looking to Revenge their divisional loss last season and I think Baker Mayfield is going to have a much better day than what we saw last year in fact I'm putting Baker Mayfield on my pick him ticket over on Underdog once again Tak the higher line of 23.5 passing yards this week this past week he threw for 289 and that was in a game that got out of control this game could stay way closer for way longer and if it does Baker Mayfield will keep throwing the ball and that could easily put him closer to 300 or over this week and if you want to tail any of the pick thems that we're talking about in the start sit videos or throughout any of our other videos during the week then you need to get signed up over on Underdog using code word headliner so you can get a super special pick them that's almost guaranteed to hit put it together with some of these pick thems we've talked about and you're going to get a deposit bonus of up to $1,000 all you need to do is deposit $10 of your own money let's go ahead and play a little bit this week get your tickets in and let's bring home the Bucks we knew Anthony Richardson had a big arm and we knew that he could move well on on the ground and he showcased both of those things last week against Houston and now he gets a Green Bay defense that also allowed some big plays to the Eagles last week a touchdown of over 60 yards to AJ Brown a couple of big completions to Devon Smith and Anthony Richardson he went deep for a couple of touchdowns over 50 yards last week as well that is where he reaches his ceiling his floor is awesome because he's going to run the football and potentially score on the ground but the big plays through the air is what's going to allow him to reach his ceiling every single week and he's got another matchup that will allow him to do just that no now nine nine hindai nay that's like six different languages I just said no in just so everybody watching this video understands Malik Willis shouldn't be anywhere near your fantasy team the Tennessee defense was the only defense last week to allow under a 100 yards passing to an opposing quarterback they absolutely smothered Caleb Williams and Williams made some mistakes on his own as well but Aaron roders doesn't look fully healthy and maybe the leg is just fine maybe it's just the mental part of the game that he's got to get over coming back from that injury whatever it may be we still may be a couple of weeks out from seeing Prime Aaron roders really retake the field or maybe we never see it again it's hard to tell right now but for Aaron Rogers this week I could see a statline very similar to what he had last week one touchdown one interception and really struggling to break 200 passing yards will Levis made some incredibly poor choices last week against the Bears and likely it cost them a week one win against Chicago so what are we going to see in the game plan this week for will Levis are they going to hold him back are they going to have a safer game plan or are they going to let him drive the ball down the field like he did at the end of last season there's a lot of question marks about will Levis and we knew coming into the season he was going to have some up and down performances but after a bad week one it's going to get even tougher against the Jets pass defense in week two I think we could see what the effect was on Brock pie not having Christian mcaffrey last week the passing game just didn't seem as crisp as it once was and there was also a drop pass from Brandon iuk in the end zone and whatever else it may be the Limited snaps for Brandon auk also caused problems opening up the field because he wasn't stretching it Brock pie definitely has an opportunity to get a little bit better this week hopefully Brandon iuk is not on that snap count they're stretching the field and opening things up but until Christian mcaffrey comes back I think the ceiling for Brock pie is extremely low the floor may not be that bad and he's going to do just enough to not lose you weeks right now but he may not do enough to actually win them either I want to show a little bit of love to Sam darnold after a great performance in week one now in a tougher matchup this week though it could end up being a little bit closer to high- risk than it would be lowrisk so we'll see what we get out of Sam darnold and what this offense is going to look like moving forward but the good news for Sam darnold is that he spent his entire year in San Francisco last season and he spent time practicing against this defense he knows it he understands the players on the side and that's going to come in big for him this week maybe he's not a weak winning quarterback but he definitely isn't a weak losing quarterback either New England made Joe burrow and the Cincinnati offense look destined for a top 10 pick at the end of the season when they got done with them last week so I don't think there's any risk in trying to run Gino Smith out there against them Gino Smith has too much turnover potential this week which really sings his ceiling and it makes his floor a a lot lower than some of the other quarterbacks that we could roll with this week we saw last week that Seattle's defense may be one of the better defenses in all of football this season I definitely love how they've retooled it and Mike McDonald at the head coaching position influencing that defense is absolutely great for Seattle jacobe brassette he's in a lot of trouble this week last week they really focused on running the football and then doing those short quick passes and I would expect one once again to see a lot of the same thing there really isn't any upside to trying to start jacobe brassett some of you are going to call me crazy but Daniel Jones is only a medium risk for me this week I mean there's no way he can screw this up right Washington was one of the worst passing defenses last year and they showed it again in week one they allowed four passing touchdowns to Baker Mayfield they allowed the most fantasy points last week and the fourth most passing yards Daniel Jones has to take advantage of this if he comes out and sucks again the way he did last week then he should be sent to the bench immediately or New York isn't going to win a game this season it may be a while before we see Jaden Daniels reach his ceiling and it's because of the conservative play calling for the Washington commanders right now they're going to let him run the football he's going to score some touchdowns on the ground and he's going to pick up some yards that's great for his floor but the passing game really relied on the short quick passes which is going to cause his ceiling to really come down because that explosiveness just isn't going to be there at some point in time they're going to add it he's a lowrisk player right now because of what he can do on the ground but he's a low risk because of his floor his ceiling really right now just isn't there there's a good chance that the Carolina Panthers get blown out again this week but this time by the Los Angeles Chargers Justin Herbert for me doesn't have a great ceiling for a couple of different reasons number one if it is a blowout they're going to get away from the passing game which already may not be that heavy to start with we know the Chargers are going to run the football and against Carolina they're going to succeed so for me when I look at Justin Herbert say floor he'll give you just over 200 yards I would say between 215 225 maybe throw a couple of touchdowns he's going to look solid and as long as he doesn't turn the ball over his floor is going to be fine even if he doesn't have a ceiling because of everything everything else I need to see a lot of growth from Bryce young in this offensive line before we can start risking it with really anybody on the Carolina of offense they're really the only offense in football right now that we look at and we can't find anybody that's worth a start in fact I'm looking at my database right now that I keep to do my start and sit videos high- risk highrisk highrisk high high high high all the way down all the way down it's all red until we see that growth there's no reason for us to be investing in this offense at all and going up against the LA Chargers this week there could to be a lot of headaches still to see in week three of 2023 DeShaun Watson was the quarterback 10 that is the only time he's been a top 10 quarterback since his last game of 2020 with Houston Jacksonville allowed a leag high 338 pass yards to the Miami Dolphins last week but Jacksonville's defense in the first half still held pretty strong and then Miami pulled away in the second half because of their speed Cleveland doesn't have the same type of speed and they don't have the same type of game plan because of that it's really hard for me to buy into the fact that Deshawn Watson gives you any type of fantasy value until we start to see it on a consistent basis the upside for Trevor Lawrence against Cleveland really depends on how often Deshawn Watson and Cleveland turn the football over because if Trevor Lawrence can get more opportunities that's going to help raise his ceiling tremendously against a really good defense but if the offense for Cleveland plays smart and plays clean and doesn't give Trevor Lawrence any other extra opportunities then really a top 12 week for Trevor Lawrence could be really tough to find I really like Las Vegas to be a sneaky good offense against Baltimore this week now I don't expect them to win but playing in a negative game script certainly will help their ceiling but the other thing that I like too is what Kansas City did to Baltimore in week one because I think Las Vegas could do a really really good job of following the same game plan jacobe Meyers in the slot could definitely eat over the middle of the field just like rasheid rice did and then Devonte Adams continue to Pepper the outside and hopefully he finds himself a big play here or there to give him some fantasy upside this week Gardner minu is going to have to help with all of that as long as the offensive line can keep him clean and give him a little bit bit of time to throw these quick passes may not give him the highest ceiling in the world but it definitely could give him a decent floor the matchup meter doesn't look great for Lamar Jackson but the Raiders are lucky that it doesn't look worse the only reason it doesn't is because the Chargers just ran all over them last week they didn't have to throw against them some of that could happen with derck Henry this week but I do think Lamar Jackson still does his own running and has a couple of touchdown passes to go with it Detroit's defense all night on Sunday Night Football was B but don't break they ended up getting a little bit lucky and got themselves out of there with a win but Arizona's defense isn't as good as Detroit especially when it comes to the pressure that they caused on Matthew Stafford Matthew Stafford was just amazing on Sunday Night Football like if you don't see what he did and appreciate how he's still doing that at his age then you don't know football go back and take a look at the tape with him great performance and I would anticipate him trying to do it again this week against Arizona I don't even care that pukaa is missing give Cooper Cup 40 Targets this week and the Rams are still winning the Rams are still going to have a great offensive performance and Matthew Stafford will be at the very beginning of it Kyler Murray is going to present is a medium risk for me this week there was some disorganization within the passing game in week one that will get cleared up over the course of the next couple of weeks but his floor is good this week because of his rushing ability and this is one area that I want to talk about for a second because with the LA Rams they have a very young core of pass rushers and we saw last week on the tape they were getting into the back field quite a bit but sometimes because they're so young and a little overzealous they don't always do Gap control very well meaning if you're supposed to be rushing from like the a gap or the B Gap sometimes you might get into that Gap but you really want to get to the back field so you do like a spin move or you try to get around the offensive lineman you open up that Gap and that's where Kyler Murray can take advantage where the Detroit Lions could not we saw a little bit of a scramble from Jared G for a first down but Kyler Murray Could execute that way more often Justin Fields looks like he's going to be getting another opportunity to start for the Pittsburgh Steelers this week but unfortunately it's not a great matchup through the air as George Pickins will likely be shadowed by Patrick Cain so where can Justin Fields make up for that on the ground with his rushing ability last week Denver allowed 30 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown to Gino Smith there is no reason why Justin Fields may not be able to at least double that unfortunately Bo Knicks looked really bad last week against the Seattle Seahawks and now he gets the pass rush of the Pittsburgh Steelers and that's going to make B Knicks my Mando must avoid quarterback of the week just like I'm trying to help you avoid some bad fantasy performan says Mando wants to help us avoid some bad odors and their clinically proven formula can stop bad odors for up to 72 hours so during a tough football season when I need a little bit of help with that because I'm sweating it out in the studio for all of you Mando comes in great and you can get your starter pack right now for $5 off which is 40% off the price by using code word Headliners at shop.com not only that but I'm going to head on over to Underdog and I'm going to go lower than his current passing line of 187.5 yards I think we're going to see a really tough game from B Knicks some of the issues that he had last week against Seattle are the same things that we saw on video prior to the draft and they will continue to be a concern especially in an offense that can be difficult to learn and by a lot of NFL standards is outdated now Joe Burrow's wrist is really concerning me and from the looks of the way he was acting in the game this past week he's not fully healthy as of yet maybe it's just soreness maybe it's just stiffness maybe it's going to take some time to work through this I'm not off the Cincinnati Bengals and Joe burrow as of yet but this was a concern that I brought up all off season and now they're going to be getting a Kansas City defense that I feel will be way better this week than they were against Baltimore burrow isn't Lamar Jackson he's not going to be extending the play with his feet the same same way and he's not going to be running for yards to help out his ceiling if for some reason he has trouble throwing the football but I think a big indication on where Joe burrow is headed will happen this weekend this matchup looks awful for Patrick Mahomes essentially because New England didn't need to throw the football against Cincinnati to beat them last week they did some short passing plays they threw the ball I think like 24 times but they ran it with Rand Dre Stevenson and that's how they beat them consider these numbers to only be here for right now as soon as Kansas City gets done with Cincinnati these will be way worse Houston's defensive weakness last week was the Deep ball and giving up those big touchdowns to Anthony Richardson and his receivers but Caleb Williams I don't think he's going to be able to take advantage of those weaknesses this week and on top of it he's going to be missing Romo dun and Keenan Allen is hurt as well those are a couple of big pieces and if they can't run the football with authority with DeAndre Swift they're going to become one-dimensional and Houston will have all of the ability in the world to now shut down the past and make things very difficult on Caleb Williams this week and his floor unfortunately will be extremely low and I don't see much of a ceiling to go with it this looks like a tough match up on paper for CJ Stroud but realistically sorry Chicago fans a lot of your defensive performance last week was because of poor decision-making from will Levis I'm not saying that you have a bad defense and I'm not saying that you still won't be one of the better defenses in football but I'm just saying that the numbers we saw from last week likely will not continue against a much better quarterback and much better offense with Houston there's always the jokes about Kurt Cousins and Prime Time games but I'm not going to make any of those jokes right now I just think that he's not going to be all that good I think we're going to see a very similar performance to how he played in week one he still isn't fully mentally back from the Achilles injury and kind of like I've talked about with Aaron Rogers he doesn't look the same in the pocket right now doesn't necessarily mean there's an issue with the leg just means mentally he hasn't really worked his way back from going down to an injury like that so we'll see if things can pick up for him against Philadelphia the secondary for Philadelphia may be a little bit improved but it's going to take some time before it becomes a big Improvement as these young players continue to get better each and every week probably a decent game for Kurt Cousins but if you need him to win your week he may not be that guy Atlanta's defense held Pittsburgh to a ton of field goals last week they were literally Bend but don't break but Philadelphia is way better than what's Pittsburgh's offense is and because of that there's not going to be any bending for Atlanta they're going to get cracked in half by Jaylen Herz and Jaylen Herz isn't going to stop scoring touchdowns I think Philadelphia wins Monday Night Football pretty easily this this week yo headliner Nation week two start and sit content in the books hopefully my analysis has helped you get your starting lineup in order for week two games but don't forget any updates that we have will be coming out with Jake and his rankings so don't forget to keep coming back all week long and then on Friday the doc will be back with all the
